A wild guess. I would say most of you here or someone you know is still paying for student loans or will probably be paying for them for years to come.
Bailout is hot on the street at the moment and we should take advantage of it. Even rich corporate CEOs and SUV manufacturers got one, why not us! ... we deserve it!
Props to Dave (eryx) ! he already started a facebook group and I'm sure we'll get a lot of people interested. Let's spread the word, who knows... it might work.

I completely agree! Student loans and education expenses are at an all time high. The situation doesnt help our brain drain and it would relieve the burden for students and allow them to better ease into their profession without being consumed by side jobs to pay the student loan bills

I'm in. I could be a much more productive citizen and help boost the economy if I had an extra few hundy to spend on myself every month.

I agree, if anyone in the U.S. needs and deserves a bailout, it should be for the houndreds of thousands students getting crippled by their student loans!

I'm torn here - having just finished paying off my student loan debt.
- haha, well there are thousands out there that could use some help...OSFA

It would help thousands, increase productivity and encourage more people to get an education.

What is my benefit in having your loans bailed out? What does it do for people who have no debt?
- d_rek0
But then again... it was my choice to recieve private loans.
