I reckon if I knuckled down and could persuade a bank to give me a 3K loan to consolidate a few bad debts (not hopeful) so I could start to run in credit again then maybe, just maybe over the next 6 months I could set myself up with a 2 month buffer but I'd need to reduce everything I do to practically nought. Kind of thinking of doing that anyway right enough
- I know it's tough, you want money? don't fucking spend it is the only way to save.chossy

less than a month.. damn I need to get my shit in order

Working from home saves an incredible amount of money on its own. I never really noticed while I was commuting.

fucking hell, how on earth can you guys afford that??
less than a month for me, as I have difficulty getting through one as is ;D
I'd need a job of some sort pretty much as soon as the other one wound up. Any job at all.
- was thinking the same thing..neue75_bold

About 6-8 months for me as well. I'd be on the lookout immediately if I knew there was the possibility of work drying up though.

I have a 4 month buffer but sell my car before I started to use it
- mistermik0
about 18 months i think.

6-8 months depending on any unforseen circumstances draining the pockets. Its sod's law the roof falls in when you are desperate to hold on to funds.

2 weeks, maybe 1
- mimeartist_com0
4 months i reckon... but if I had to be cautious probably 6, as i'd stop using iTunes and buying a new pair of trainers every couple of weeks!
