A question for all the designer types out there....
What's you're standard go to serif font?
I need to know if there is a "Helvetica" of the serif world. Thanks.

What's the difference between Times and Times New Roman?
- Tungsten0
So I'm guessing Times and Georgia will render pretty nicely in HTML.
Thanks Moamoa.

Mrs Eaves
- I hate the x-height, its impossible for me to set a huge amount of copy. its looks awkward.moamoa
- but I know I am alone with this opinionmoamoa
- i agree moamoa. i used to really like it. now i am seeing its flaws as mentioned a couple of months back.jaylarson
- You are not alone. I despise Mrs. Eaves. Not good for setting paragraph text of any length.gramme
- Not alone, mate. I for one don't like Mrs Eaves.pylon

naaa I agree with hallelujah... there is no "go to" serif
but nowadays the most used Serif font for off&online apllication is surely Times (and yes its a good font), in the past (before 1940) it was Garamond, which was drawn around 1550...
