oh oh oh oh! I forgot. My brother shot me in the eye at point blank range with a air gun once. right in the eye too, the actual eye. that was not only painful but fucking scary as hell that I would lose my sight in it
- haha i was stuck in a tree and brother shot my arse with air rifle. from about 4 foot.mistermik

nothing wrong with what your brother did mistermilk.
you see it's in our genes it is timelessly coded into our genetic make up that if we see our brothers arse slung over a branch in a tree and we have an air rifle we have to shoot it, nature rules us like a clock.

I used to dislocate my shoulder alot, most of the time was when I was drunk so the pain was numbed, or on the rugby pitch so the adrenaline was pumping. The one time it really hurt was when I did it in my sleep... I woke up screaming and almost passed out. The awkardness on the bone position and the fact that your shoulder is at the height of your nipple still makes me squirm.

I was going to post about having my back teeth drilled sans anesthetic (we were too poor),or knee dislocation, as discussed here http://www.qbn.com/topics/569105…
...but Tegan_Torch’s open heart surgery story pretty much killed my chances of having any impact whatsoever.
FFS!!!!!! Awake during open heart surgery!!!!
- Just read that... yup I agree ('bout T_T's)Dancer

Chossy, The statisfaction of it going back in IS amazing. The movies are very wrong though. You try and do that and you will do some serious damage, fracturing the socket or collar bone or worse trapping a nerve in the socket - now that would hurt to fuck.
Dislocated hip would be the worst...evaaaa

Broke my hip in a work accident with a malfunctioning baling machine. That was painful. Not quite as painful as trying to walk afterwards though. I missed my Aunts funeral, a university ball and some training with the Australian SAS
- the iliac crest was crushed and the pelvic bone is permanently outta shape.Amicus

Oh, and my dad managed to lock my sisters fingers in a car door. A Volvo for fucks sake. She was in so much pain she couldn't scream until Dad had walked about a 100meters.
Wished I'd caught that on video, her face was priceless, like the painting called 'The Scream'.

I like it that I brought another life into the world and by talking about it, I killed a thread...

E-coli food poisoning. I heard it's used as torture in some countries. You get a really tasty curry and then for the next few days <PAIN>

Perianal abscess caused by an infected hair follicle after a day of biking. A short hospital operation to open the abscess, followed by six weeks off work, and an open one-inch wound that I had to empty, wash and pack daily with sterile wadding.

Broke my collarbone when i tried to jump on a moving merry-go-round and cracked it on one of the bars. Tore all the ligaments in my left ankle running after a volleyball and stepping on a curb wrong and twisting it under. Never seen anything swell up so fast, they had to cut my shoe off.
But the worst was probably having mumps that developed into meningitis when i was 4 or 5. Puking, stiff neck, headaches that would make you faint, 4 weeks quarantine in hospital, parents only allowed to look at you through a window, everybody going in and out with facemasks on, spinal tap (i was scared of needles to begin with, that was the biggest needle i'd ever seen in my life, they had to restrain me)... more mental pain tho, i guess.
