Jesus, really?
That's like asking "I have a fridge full of food. Does anyone know if I can make some dinner?"

Just type Command-Shit-A to automatically open a the Applications Window. Type the name of your app. Command-Option-O to open Application and close the window at the same time.

Command-Space start typing, hit enter.

Exactly meffid. ⌘space all the way. Faster than anything else.
Also, I hate how colour labels in Bridge and Finder aren't the same thing and interchangeable. WTF?

whats the real benefit of using quicksilver as an app launcher over spotlight? I know quicksilver does more than just launch apps... but if all i want is an app launcher, isn't spotlight the ticket, or am I missing something?

The stuff you use all the time will appear in the Recent Items menu in the Apple menu. You could rely on that to find the stuff you use constantly

you could use windows-style small icons instead of ones made for blind people.

Quicksilver.

How many apps to you use that regularly that they need to be in the dock all the time? If it's an app I don't use at least once every 1-3 days, it gets the chop.
Besides for those apps that aren't in the dock, it's very quick to just start typing the apps name into spotlight or quicksilver...

Dock dividers help...

Same as everyone else here.
- I keep my apps folder in my dock.
- Usually I just type it into Spotlight. So fast and easy!
