  whats the real benefit of using quicksilver as an app launcher over spotlight? I know quicksilver does more than just launch apps... but if all i want is an app launcher, isn't spotlight the ticket, or am I missing something?

  • its much faster and you don't have to type full words. for example, you could type pshop with quicksilver and hit enter, it'd still runkalkal
  • and it'd still run. ashop, adhop, adpho anything, it'd figure out that this is really photoshopkalkal
