you asked a question and when people answer you tell them to sod off?
Have you a bit of a short fuse?
Are you unable to argue your case intelligently?
Are your schoolyard "hippy" insults not working?
Are we making you really really angry?
Why don't you shoot us?

i'm not angry in the least. hard to tell emotion over a computer screen though right?
perhaps you didn't get the sarcasm of my "schoolyard hippy insults". you don't know my personality...not a big deal to me. no hard feelings on this side of the internet.
now can we get on with more pictures of beautifully designed guns without all the political bullshit that surrounds them? thanks.
- no we can't. because you know what is with threads here? everyone can post whatever they like.janne76
- you are not the one to decide. noone is. if people feel emotionally strong against guns, they are allowed to express it here..janne76
- express it here or anywhere..janne76
- it's a suggestion, not an order. does what i type really affect you that much personally? i'm sorry.sublocked
- oh my lord, have you realized that some people actually could feel offended at all?????janne76
- you're certainly a piece of work...sublocked

sorry I can´t post some well designed guns.
400 people in my village in croatia died during the yugoslavia war thru guns. and 5 of from my family.
jaa I know its just human natures fault.
- :'(janne76
- that sucks bigtime, i'm sorry to hear that.sublocked
- anyway, on with posting NICE guns now! Because they look AWESOME!! :D :D :D //janne76
- god bless you moamoahallelujah

if there is only good and bad, and i assume you consider yourself good, well, that makes us, the protesters bad, right?
we are bad.
you are good.black and white.
gun to gun.
america,
fuck yeah.
- sublocked0
taking the extremist position is funny janne76. quite hypocritical...especially when you're categorizing me using the same thought process you accuse me of having.
look, in an ideal world there would be no guns. you and i are on the same page my friend.
however we live in the real world - not candyland. unfortunately in my real world i don't see that as a viable option. so i'm the "retard" and the fascist here because i don't agree with you?
seems like you are the one using the black and white lens here.
you have a good day.
- as a matter of interest, when is the last time you "had" to use your gun?lowimpakt
- when someone attempted to break into my house, 3 years ago.sublocked
- but i suppose i should have just told him to go away, right?sublocked
- interesting.lowimpakt
- does the 'nice' design make you forget about the fear driving the need?lowimpakt
- never.sublocked
- I hope you goy to "blow him away" so your gun didn't go to wastehallelujah
- janne760
i live in candyland apparently. guns are strictly forbidden here.
good day to you, sir.

Lets cut everyone hands off as they can be used to punch!

Absolutely nothing wrong with owning a gun for protection. Also, it is a right that we should never give up in the US. Fact is if you take away guns from the citizens, you end up with a country where only criminals and police/government have firearms....that is much more scary imo. They already tried this in Mexico and it didn't work, this is exactly what has happened.

maybe for the europeans it´s too pervert to glorify guns. it´s obvious you need a gun if your neighbourhood is saturated with them, no doubt about that. but you don´t have to like them. and certainly don´t need to treat them like every other gadget. especially when there´s an army of crazies, who consider owning assault rifles a basic civil right. it´s probably this mindset that the eurohippies aim at, not the gun itself.

An interesting tangent here is the interplay of context-specific fears, aesthetics and desire.
I would like to challenge and explore further the fascination with and desire of firearm design in advanced economies. They are predominantly a purchase born out of fear. That fear is retrospective, current or perceived. The firearm becomes an embodiment of that fear. It could be argued that the retention (carrying about) of that embodied fear leads to a mass psychosis. It is a ball and chain of real and imagined fear.
Hmmmm..... I'm sure the Design Against Crime research unit could have a PhD project on this.....

@gung_hoek
perhaps thats where the confusion lies. don't mean to glorify the gun or violence. if people had read my initial post it speaks to be being terrified of the potential situation we could be in here in america.
just look at what happened in new orleans post katrina. officers running away and people running wild looting and shooting. doing whatever the fuck they felt like...
who's going to protect you in that situation but yourself? i don't think a lot of the europeans quite understand the gravity of a potential event like that because they're not from here.
didn't want to write lengthy text as an intro, but i guess i ended up with a short story after all these posts :)

^^ and im sure someone will take "europeans" out of context and mention georgia, serbia, croatia, or whatever.
yes i'm aware those are war torn countries with gun problems as well. thanks...

There have been many discussions about the potential for the collective memory of numerous wars on European soil (some painfully recent) involving the death of millions of people being the reason why so many European are deeply offended at the the proliferation of guns.
This collective memory is something americans probably just don't get.

The 2nd amendment to the U.S. Constitution gives people the right to bear arms.
This amendment is in place, because the founders of this country knew that eventually corruption would take over and create a fascist dictatorship.
Allz I knowz iz that I hope you kept your gunz. Cuz you gonna need em!

I think we can all agree that the My Lai Massacre was an atrocity that occurred due to war, fail politics, and the mental unhinging of a few in power, and is not particularly relevant to a general discussion on gun ownership/violence.
WTF is wrong with you people posting photos of corpses on a Tuesday morning?

- That's the way wars should be fought. With fist fights and refs to make sure there are no weapons. If you lose?... you lose.D_Dot
