Hey,
I came across these 2 portfolio sites that look very similar yet are 2 different people. Its pretty obvious that one of these guys stole from the other but I don't know who's the thief. Has anyone ever seen these sites before? Does anyone know whos site is the original?

Enough with the flash radial gradients, already.

According to the Wayback Machine:
Nicholas Creevy has been around since 2004, and Tamz since 2001. Tamz has had many layouts.

I like that flash den site version. I think flash den is upping it a notch. Jease.

wow, I never even thought to even think that could have been a template. Nice find! LOL. I agree, Nicholas used it better.

That's an awesome deal for $40.
- I agree. For photo studios or small agency's not bad. But a template is a template at the end of the day!Iggyboo
- Very nice even if it is a template. 99% of people visiting won't know it's a template site.BannedKappa

memorize:
black&white gradients / spacy buttons / pixel font / fullscreen button / 3d backgrounds / some bling bling / many effects / many fonts
mostly = www.flashden.net

so bad to use a template for your personal design portfolio, though... but, very cheap...

Guys look at this stuff before you post it. That beta site isn't even their site....
- of course, it's created by triworks.net ... they bought the template...SigDesign

if ur a photographer and don't know coding then thats one thing, but if ur modeling urself as an interactive design agency and your site is a $40 dollar template then what are clients supposed to think? That their sites are gonna be templates to?
- pretty good... pay $40, charge $4,000SigDesign
- I know people who have actually done that, maybe not that markup but still...FallowDeer

navigation on that photographer's guys site is ridiculously complicated

What complete bullshit.
That is the reason, right there, that Flash has had, and continues to have, a bad rap.
I was sick of the robot-circuit-board-tech-gradien... look about 17 minutes after it was diarrhea'd all over the web, back in, umm, let me think, 1999?
Any "company" that hits either of those sites, and thinks "these are the guys that are going to take us to that next level", are the "companies" that we, as designers, need to stay the hell away from...
Rubbish.
