- elpaso0
do you want to know the average salary?
or hoe much you need to live well?- If the country goes well (which I think so) the average salary determines living well.********

London in really expensive.
- _salisae_0
you'd need to make at least 25 pounds an hour at a full-time gig .. which roughly translates to ukit's total above.
- and that would be for a share living situation_salisae_

Forget about not-sharing for the first few months to a year.
You can 'get by' and live a moderately enjoyable existence on £25k. Any less and you'll be impinging on the full potential of a convenient consumer lifestyle.
Have a look through here..
http://www.ononemap.com/
...(and be sure to CHANGE the options in the top right corner) to get an idea of how much rent costs.I know Spanish people who live less consumer lifestyles who have a great time around £20k - I know other people who couldn't possibly function on less than £35k. It all depends on your outlook and expectations.
- yeah, what he said.flashbender
- Yep. Listen to the manbabaganush

- Surely that much coke you don't really need to eat? Just cut the food mang.Dancer
- hahaha, the food was when the coke wore off and we went out for curries every night.meffid
- Cocaine: Up to 600 quid, will always hit your hard. Did you speak to your financial adviser about it.********

I would say £35k is living comfortably

I also suggest going over there, racking up as much debt as possible and then moving country again.

The average salary in the online/dot.com/design world is about £30K.
For a "good" living depends obviously on a lot of things, but assuming you have no debt, want to live on your own in a 1BR flat, have a car, have money to go out and actually have a life - you'll need at least £45-50K at the minimum.
London is not even remotely cheap.

But, on the other hand, isn't London one of the best places to live in terms of art, music, social life, culture? Or do you just get sick of it like every other place?
- London IS amazing in that regard and yeah - you've got everything. The cost of living and the transport however are shit. Get off the tube, get a houseshare and earn decent money and you'll be fine!olli101
