Who is going to be the moderate Republican to challenge Obama in 2012? I have a feeling that this firebrand tea-party shit is going to fizzle out a bit by then. People are going to get tired of the constant bitching by these people and no honest answers or solutions being implemented. All they really ever do is bitch.
Romney is too liberal also IMO.

No way Romney get's in. A Mormon? Study up on their agenda. Might as well vote for a Scientologist.
The right have begun to cannibalize themselves. That side is so fractured they won't be able to recover.

Someone moderate is going to surface soon.

"In recent weeks I’ve been asked what President Obama can expect from GOP investigators now that Republicans control the House. I should know. The last time this happened, after the 1994 midterms, I was a right-wing ring-leader of the anti-Clinton movement."

Regarding possible challengers to Obama, I rank 'em in this order:
#1 - Jon Huntsman Jr.
Jon Meade Huntsman, Jr. (born March 26, 1960) is an American politician and diplomat. He is the current United States Ambassador to China. He previously served as the 16th Governor of Utah from 2005 until his resignation on August 11, 2009, to become Ambassador.[1]
Pro: Handsome. Tall. White. Accomplished. Global. Business Experience. Moderate, though conservative when it counts. Humble. Very smart. Part of the Obama administration ("I'm running because I've seen inside this gov't, and I don't like it.")
Con: Mormon. Part of the Obama administration (Tea Party may hate him).#2 - Rick Perry
James Richard "Rick" Perry (born March 4, 1950) is an American politician. He is the 47th and current Governor of Texas, having held the office since December 2000. He is a member of the Republican Party.
Pro: Kinda handsome. Appealing. Tough. Very conservative. Somewhat global. Military experience. Strong rhetorically. Direct opponent with Obama's EPA.
Con: No business experience. Kinda wacky (see: secession). Crumbling Texas economy.#3 - Tim Pawlenty
Timothy James "Tim" Pawlenty (pronounced /pəˈlɛnti/;[2] born November 27, 1960), is a Minnesota politician who served as the 39th Governor of Minnesota. In the Minnesota gubernatorial election of 2002, he was elected governor and was inaugurated on January 6, 2003. He was re-elected in 2006 with 46% of the vote. On June 2, 2009, he announced that he would not seek re-election in 2010.
Pro: Handsome. Strong rhetoric. Moderate. Business experience. Evangelical.
Con: Boring. Unknown. Evangelical.#4 - John Thune
John Randolph Thune (born January 7, 1961) is the junior U.S. Senator from South Dakota, serving since 2005. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the U.S. Representative for South Dakota's At-large congressional district from 1997 to 2003.
Pro: Handsome. Tall. Modest and moderate.
Con: Meh.- Too White
Too Tight

I doubt Huntsman runs, he wouldn't stand a chance. And doesn't look like Perry will either at this point.
In order to run for Prez nowadays you gotta get your operation rolling a couple years ahead of time. You need a political action committee to raise millions of dollars and campaign infrastructure in the early primary states.
And in order to do all of this, you need to start floating your name as a serious contender, otherwise why would people waste their time.
Therefore I think the people who will probably run are:
Romney
Palin (maybe)
Huckabee
Pawlenty
Haley Barbour
Mitch Daniels
John Thune
Gary Johnson
and perhaps Ron Paul- I leave out Gingrich because he always threatens to run but never does********
- anything more prudent to talk about or discuss? perhaps current things********
- like how healthcare costs jsut boosted, wether employer based healthcare is good********
- i know every kid raises it for all and i counter it with a 12ver a night an as much other toxins i can push********
- you know just somethign mroe relevant and isnt based on entertaining speculation********
- but hey there sa market in speculation and its profitable for entertainment as much as oil dollars********
- if u get my drift********
- Feel free to post a topic change, db. We know you're capable.luckyorphan

Girl’s Death Hits Home for Obama
By HELENE COOPER
Published: January 13, 2011WASHINGTON — President Obama is not known for showing a surplus of emotion in public, but toward the end of his speech at the University of Arizona, he paused for 51 seconds and appeared to gather himself.
- Guess I'm just hoping that some of you who disagree with the president might see him as a person.luckyorphan
- I agree, one the few times ive seen the guy actually act like he cares about something.********

Newly-elected, Tea Party-backed Senator Mike Lee of Utah recently claimed that Child Labor laws are unconstitutional:
- Of course, he's not advocating for them to be repealed. He's just annoyed with how they were enacted.luckyorphan
- Apparently believing that labor and manufacturing are not interstate commercial activities.luckyorphan
- Very mainstream views, these Tea Party types...********
