A view from within.
The famous story about a frog being boiled to death without feeling it, although not true, is frequently used to explain how fascism takes over. A little bit of freedom is taken under the guise of security or progress (false, of course) or similar reasons. Nobody says or does anything because they’ve been brainwashed from birth. Rare deviations from the rule keep their mouths shut out of fear.
Then a bit more and a bit more and here we are. We have convicted terrorists, mass murderers, genocidal maniacs, and criminals in our government now. We do genocide with no consequences. IDF and the whole security apparatus (Police, Mossad, Shabak, Border Patrol) all terrorist organizations. The Holocaust is nothing more than a propaganda tool to justify all this and that makes me sad. My family survived it and I heard firsthand stories. My relatives that perished are probably turning in their graves.
We are nearing self-destruction. This blatant fallacy that the original idea became must be destroyed.
