Regarding possible challengers to Obama, I rank 'em in this order:
#1 - Jon Huntsman Jr.
Jon Meade Huntsman, Jr. (born March 26, 1960) is an American politician and diplomat. He is the current United States Ambassador to China. He previously served as the 16th Governor of Utah from 2005 until his resignation on August 11, 2009, to become Ambassador.[1]
Pro: Handsome. Tall. White. Accomplished. Global. Business Experience. Moderate, though conservative when it counts. Humble. Very smart. Part of the Obama administration ("I'm running because I've seen inside this gov't, and I don't like it.")
Con: Mormon. Part of the Obama administration (Tea Party may hate him).#2 - Rick Perry
James Richard "Rick" Perry (born March 4, 1950) is an American politician. He is the 47th and current Governor of Texas, having held the office since December 2000. He is a member of the Republican Party.
Pro: Kinda handsome. Appealing. Tough. Very conservative. Somewhat global. Military experience. Strong rhetorically. Direct opponent with Obama's EPA.
Con: No business experience. Kinda wacky (see: secession). Crumbling Texas economy.#3 - Tim Pawlenty
Timothy James "Tim" Pawlenty (pronounced /pəˈlɛnti/;[2] born November 27, 1960), is a Minnesota politician who served as the 39th Governor of Minnesota. In the Minnesota gubernatorial election of 2002, he was elected governor and was inaugurated on January 6, 2003. He was re-elected in 2006 with 46% of the vote. On June 2, 2009, he announced that he would not seek re-election in 2010.
Pro: Handsome. Strong rhetoric. Moderate. Business experience. Evangelical.
Con: Boring. Unknown. Evangelical.#4 - John Thune
John Randolph Thune (born January 7, 1961) is the junior U.S. Senator from South Dakota, serving since 2005. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the U.S. Representative for South Dakota's At-large congressional district from 1997 to 2003.
