Bernanke: Keep Fed as watchdog of small US banks
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_be…
Of course Ben Bernanke want to retain control and power of the small banks. This is so that Wall Street and in particularly Goldman Sachs Group, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan Chase and Bank of America can dictate their rates and impose their control of the entire banking system. Ben Bernanke's only interest is to help assist, bailout, support, and get kick backs from the banking institution that he helped build. And it is no surprise that the U.S. Federal Reserve has bought stakes in the nation's largest banks. - "Greed is Good"

Tick...tick...tick...you liberals out there must be getting wood, we may have a vote soon!!!!
But with 100,000 calls an hour, against this wacky HC bill, you got to ask, and try to put politics aside and anger and insults...if the HC bill passes is it really a win for the country or just a win for Obama and pelosi???
Just wondering???- Cover more people & reduce the national debt. What was the argument against it again?joeth
- I believe the arguement is of confusion!!! Alot people including those in dc don't know what's in the bill. Plus the whole idea of a govt. Run health care is kinda worriesome when you think that any thing the govt. Runs usually runs a little shitty! Post office , DMV...the cash for clunkers! To name a few! Plus If you look at the state of mass. They have this so called govt. Run health care model up there...and it's a failure that is asking for bail out money! So I think that's just a few issues of worry!********

Let's get the bill passed.
We've already (involuntarily) invested many resources into the reform effort. It seems to be far better than the health care system that's currently in place. And from what I gathered from listening to the summit, both sides already agree on a vast majority of what the new bill covers.

For the sake of anyone troubled by the ranting over this trivial matter, the historical record is indisputable. During the years when the Republicans controlled the House, they set records for the use of such "rarely used" maneuvers. Although their bogus sanctimony should no longer surprise anyone, the utter fraudulence of these latest outbursts has been held up to deserved ridicule by impeccably nonpartisan and even conservative sources. On the American Enterprise Institute blog, for instance, congressional expert Norm Ornstein writes:
Norm Ornstein writes:"Any veteran observer of Congress is used to the rampant hypocrisy over the use of parliamentary procedures that shifts totally from one side to the other as a majority moves to minority status, and vice versa. But I can’t recall a level of feigned indignation nearly as great as what we are seeing now from congressional Republicans and their acolytes at the Wall Street Journal, and on blogs, talk radio, and cable news."
