the funniest part was when obama was rolling off about taxing big banks and talking about free trade, the republicans didn't applaud at all. he even said something i think? like "i thought this side would applaud me on that." the GOP is just taking such a staunch anti-obama approach that it's pretty classless. as much as everyone hated bush, and with good reason, at least the democrats seemed willing to negotiate on some stuff.
