"I'm happy because I am one of the majority that didn't want the current health care bill rammed through. Now at least we can have more time to make a better decision. "
can you explain to me what a better decision could be?
when you answer this, I want you to explain the basic framework of a health care policy that would suit you, how this will be delivered, funded and resourced (in light of the current health care and broader economic context) and some of the key outcomes from this.
can you make your reply clear i.e. actual policies, actual actions, actual resources, actual finance, actual outcomes.
thanks.
- lowimpakt0
and JazX, I'm still waiting for your reply. actualy names of people, actual policies (not ideologies) and actual actions.
if you can't even suggest something remotely realistic you should should probably be giving up on your criticism and reading a book or two.
- Ha, Brown looks hot right now! How about him for you? BTW, who's going to run for the Demmies once O looses.********

I don't want Government running healthcare. It's about as simple as that. I am not the one who needs to solve the problem with specific ideas. That's what we elect lawmakers to do. Sorry if this doesn't satisfy you.Anyhow, Obama and his devious healthcare takeover plans are no more. Divine intervention? Yes, I think so.
- Nobody is proposing Government running Healthcare, but that's where the Dems are failing. Failure to project a clear message on their goals.IRNlun6

- ??? The current health care plan is ALL ABOUT GOV CONTROL.********
- You don't understand that you have been fooled by republicans into thinking that the bills out there want the government to run health care.DrBombay
- government to run health care. There is no serious bill out there proposing any public option.DrBombay

Maybe if we just keep booting the politicians out when they are on the verge of accomplishing something we can maintain a kind of uneasy status quo. I'd be OK with that.
- fooler20
you do know Mr. Brown voted in favor of the Mass. universal health care law making his state the first to have socialized government subsidized insurance coverage.
- BonSeff0
i love how these myopic fundies can't see the distinction between a public insurance option and the actual practice of medicine.
jesus christ, the bill does not interfere with a doctor's practice, it enables more people the option to see a doctor.. for fucks sake.
but these fucking idiots on the radio and tv wrap it all into one and call it obamacare... fucking hell.

Let's face it, the real problem is the Senate. They (and I include some but not all of the Democrats in this) are a bunch of corrupt elitists who have pretty much sidelined any actual reform from getting through.
The House actually passed a decent health care bill. By the time the Senate got through with it, it was pretty much the same plan Mitt Romney implemented in MA (in other words, industry friendly with a mandate to buy insurance and no PO). Maybe it's better than the status quo, maybe not, but it's hard to say it's the best policy we could get.

lowimpakt, you've just proved my point. You're gettting pissed off about the political jabbing at the current administration, when in reality you did the same along with the rest of the gang for nearly 8 years with Bush.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hypocrites...
Like I know who is going to run for the Republicans in 2012...!? Like it matters at this point, three years away? You really want to get personal, fine, I've repeatedly stated that I'm more of an Independent with conservative fiscal views.
Being that you are in the UK, you don't get a vote, so get off of it. Typical...!
- lowimpakt0
so, you're an anything-but-obama person without a shred of a clue of who you want to replace him with or what policies need changing.
in the UK, we call your type "bullshitter".
- Actually, I stated what I'd like in an Independent, but that isn't going to likely happen. Anything else, wise-guy?********

I repeat, I do not want the US Government with their hands in our healthcare system. I do not want to be federally mandated to "plan-up". I do want every American to be able to receive healthcare as they need it and am willing to help as a taxpayer. Above all else, I want bipartisan behavior as Obama PROMISED.

JazX/ Palin 2012!

The only "bullshit" on this page is the fact that you think your viewpoint matters, being that you are in Ireland.
Truly, laughable actually! Ha ha, it obviously get's under your skin. LOL!
I could care less about O, he's just going to make it worse on the Democratic party, with all this false hope and promises. This I know.
