you fucktards are funny. you judge all presidential action with the swiftness that george dubya needed to respond to 9/11.
completely overlooking what was done in the 1st 9 months of clinton, bush sr., reagan, carter et al.

oh, and you want me to clarify my last comment to the vid.
i'll spell it out for you. obama is giving respect to gov jindal for what he has done for his state. my point was that bush gave fema director props for completely fumbling. i doubt you give a shit about the difference. you just want to slam the pres. so keep blowing your hot air and posturing. all of us are steady over your act.

    • what has jindal done for his state that he is giving a thumbs up for? hollow.

When are you going to get out of this left right paradigm. None of these politicians care about you or your family or the poor kids in the ghetto. All you social justice mofo's are being used because you're to _____ to look at the issues and causes for yourself.

Some how, a politician lies straight to your face you're ok with that. But some chic lies straight to your face and you have a conniption fit.

When are you going to realizes these people work for the united nations and the federal reserve. This is just not happening in America but every country on the planet.

Please watch Confessions of an Economic Hitman.

I guess the way I am looking at is, if you don't want to learn the truth, you were never ment to learn the truth.

When Bush was President, if you opposed him you were a traitor.
When Obama is President, if you oppose him you are a patriot.

Now left or right aside. What happened right wingers? Explain it to me. Bush was pissing away the treasury at an incredible rate also, before the financial crisis and no one said a word. Explain it.

Just got this email forwarded to me...not sure if it's legit or not.

    Subject: HR 615

On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment, courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn which would require all Members of Congress and their staff members to enroll in any new government-run health plan.

Congressman John Fleming has proposed an amendment that would require Congressmen and Senators to take the same health care plan that they would force on us. (Under proposed legislation they are exempt.)

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go to his Website and sign his petition. The process is very simple. I have done just that at:
    http://fleming.house.gov/index.h… .
Senator Coburn and Congressman Fleming are both physicians.
Regardless of your political ,beliefs, it sure seems reasonable that Congress should have exactly the same medical coverage that they impose on the rest of us.
Please urge as many people as you can to do the same!

    • Could this be more political? No one is forcing you to go on the public option...DrBombay
  • ukit0

designbot, you do realize that the Congress - including all the Republicans - are already on a 100% government health care plan?

    • moot point, the email says congress would have to switch to the SAME proposed public plan as everyone else.designbot

When Bush was President, if you opposed him you were a smart and informed.
When Obama is President, if you oppose him you are uninformed and racist and probably Republican.

Obviously there's something wrong, its not this black and white.

And what's the difference between the public plan that government employees get (not just Congress, but any single person who works for the government), and any other public plan?

I'm not saying there's not any, I'm just wondering. The basic setup seems pretty much the same.

"I will say, then, that I AM NOT NOR HAVE EVER BEEN in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the black and white races---that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with White people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the White and black races which will ever FORBID the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together, there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I, as much as any other man, am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the White race."

    Kind of interesting...

The Very Separate World of Conservative Republicans

The self-identifying conservative Republicans who make up the base of the Republican Party stand a world apart from the rest of America, according to focus groups conducted by Democracy Corps. These base Republican voters dislike Barak Obama to be sure - which is not very surprising as base Democrats had few positive things to say about George Bush - but these voters identify themselves as part of a ‘mocked’ minority with a set of shared beliefs and knowledge, and commitment to oppose Obama that sets them apart from the majority in the country. They believe Obama is ruthlessly advancing a ‘secret agenda’ to bankrupt the United States and dramatically expand government control to an extent nothing short of socialism. They overwhelmingly view a successful Obama presidency as the destruction of this country’s founding principles and are committed to seeing the president fail.

    Key Findings

Instead of focusing on these intense ideological divisions, the press and elites continue to look for a racial element that drives these voters’ beliefs - but they need to get over it. Conducted on the heels of Joe Wilson’s incendiary comments at the president’s joint session address, we gave these groups of older, white Republican base voters in Georgia full opportunity to bring race into their discussion - but it did not ever become a central element, and indeed, was almost beside the point.

First and foremost, these conservative Republican voters believe Obama is deliberately and ruthlessly advancing a ‘secret agenda’ to bankrupt our country and dramatically expand government control over all aspects of our daily lives. They view this effort in sweeping terms, and cast a successful Obama presidency as the destruction of the United States as it was conceived by our founders and developed over the past 200 years. This concern combines with a profound sense of collective identity. They readily identify themselves as a minority in this country - a minority whose values are mocked and attacked by a liberal media and class of elites. They also believe they possess a level of knowledge and understanding when it comes to politics and current events, one gained from a rejection of the mainstream media and an embrace of conservative media and pundits such as Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, which sets them apart even more.

    • so its suggesting race plays little to no issue? THAT IS INTERESTING

    healthcare in the u.s. sucks.

when we had our baby my wife pretty much sped through the first stage of her contractions, and before we knew it they were 3 minutes apart and the hospital was 20 minutes away. by the time i got to the hospital there was zero time to get her inside so i helped her walk 10 feet to the grass and sat her down. i ran in and got the doctors to come out and help. within 10 minutes they had delivered our baby boy. a month later and i get a fucking bill in the mail for $5000 worth of operating room costs. WHAT!?!

so i take the bill to the hospital and i complain. so what did those bastards do? they printed out another bill and had replaced "operating room costs" with "greens fees".

they got me. this system is fucked.

Yesterday, in what the Dallas Morning News described as a “powerful homage”, President Barack Obama praised former President George H.W. Bush saying that Bush's “words, works and entire life were an inspiration” and marveling at the example of the “extraordinary ripple effect” one person can have over history.

    And Obama was right!

From President George H.W. Bush’s father, US Senator Prescott Bush, financing the rise of Nazi Germany’s Adolph Hitler and the 1933 coup against President Franklin Roosevelt, to his involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, to his support of other assassinations while Director of the CIA, to the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan, while Bush was Vice President, at the hand of the “lone assassin” John Hinckley Jr., who just happened to be the son of one of Bush’s oldest friends and Texas oil business partner John Hinckley Sr., to his engineering the rise of his son, George W Bush, to the American Presidency through a stolen election, to all of these, and too many more to put into one single message, one can indeed see the “extraordinary ripple effect” he has had upon America, and the World.

In any normal society a family like the Bush’s would have long ago been called what they in fact are, a criminal enterprise...and in the case of the Bush Family, the largest and deadliest criminal organization known in the history of mankind!

And like any mafia underling approaching their Godfather, Obama dutifully praised George H.W. Bush as his “inspiration” and has followed in his, Bush’s, path by continuing the looting the American people by their Wall Street banking overlords that will soon see them all become nothing more than debt slaves beholden to their Washington and New York City masters.

The supposed “first protectors” of the American people, their “Free Press”, was designed and protected by their Founding Fathers for the express purpose of protecting their Nation against such monsters, and before his death, President John F. Kennedy gave a speech before the American Newspaper Publishers Association wherein he warned...

“The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it.

And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.”
