healthcare in the u.s. sucks.
when we had our baby my wife pretty much sped through the first stage of her contractions, and before we knew it they were 3 minutes apart and the hospital was 20 minutes away. by the time i got to the hospital there was zero time to get her inside so i helped her walk 10 feet to the grass and sat her down. i ran in and got the doctors to come out and help. within 10 minutes they had delivered our baby boy. a month later and i get a fucking bill in the mail for $5000 worth of operating room costs. WHAT!?!
so i take the bill to the hospital and i complain. so what did those bastards do? they printed out another bill and had replaced "operating room costs" with "greens fees".
they got me. this system is fucked.

- actually curious did u have insurance? if so how much did insurance pay?********
- is it true if u pay in cash, no insurance the cost is 1/4 of the costs? just heard its best to pay for kids upfront.********
