So last night, Inaugaration night, I went out to dinner in downtown nyc to some trendy overpriced pretentious Japanese fusion place (hey it's restaurant week...good deals). After getting seated and ordering, another couple sits down next to us. I couldn't help overhearing their conversation (well you gotta shout in that place to be heard) and they're just trashing Obama and Biden. This couple was just like "America is over. What idiots democrats are..." etc. So I take a gander over at them and I swear to god they looked EXACTLY like the two conservative shit-talking pubdits Jonah Goldberg (author of "LIberal Fascism") and Ann Coulter, I mean like carbon copies. I present evidence.

Apparently, on "Oprah", Jill Biden let it out that Joe Biden was offered the job of either Vice President or Secretary of State (who is probably going to be Hilary, of course). I didn't know this before. Very interesting. (He later said he was only offered the job of being Vice President, so....who knows).

The comments by the newly installed U.S. president veered into politically sensitive territory for China's ruling Communist Party, which maintains a tight grip over the Internet and the entirely state-run media. Beijing tolerates little dissent and frequently decries foreign interference in its internal affairs.
At one point, Obama said earlier generations "faced down communism and fascism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions." He later addressed "those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent — know that you are on the wrong side of history."
The Chinese translation of the speech, credited to the Web site of the official China Daily newspaper, was missing the word "communism" in the first sentence. The paragraph with the sentence on dissent had been removed entirely.
The censored version was carried by the state-run Xinhua News Agency and posted on popular online portals Sina and Sohu. Another portal, Netease, used a version without the paragraph mentioning communism, but retaining the part about dissent.

This very vast middle class, which we have today and which grew so quickly on mass-printed money and on very deft exploitation of the third world work force, will inevitably come to an end. Basically, what will happen is that the middle class will deflate back to the level of 1930s, and you will have a super rich ruling elite (the same as the rich people of today -- nothing will happen to them) which will eventually get all control over the entire economic apparatus.
