JazX
this is all I'm going to say in the way of your ignorance. This goes for all including my own mother who is voting for McCain.
Any one voting for John McCain is the reason this country is on the fucking down slide. It's like some one punching you in the face for 8 years then saying punch me again I can take four more years of this. The worse part is my mother has another son. My brother has been fighting in Iraq and the whole time all she has done is talk about the bad decision she made the past two elections. Yet again here she is making the same mistake. The Republican party has a way of making people fear things. Yea everything from the past eight years tells them to vote for Barack but hey he is a terrorist, hey is a Muslim or hey he is black. They rather spread rumors like teenagers in high school or old ladies at church. We can all sit here and bicker all we want but tomorrow will change everything. I hope EVERYONE has a safe and good evening on the eve of one of the most important nights in our history.
- I don't very well expect McCain to win, but I'm not going to change my views at this point. I'd be a coward.********
- I appreciate your honesty.HelloMatt
- Honestly, would you change your vote if Gore had won those eight and Romney or McCain were running?********
- I have no ideological views in common with republicans.DrBombay

Some in my girlfriend's family, I just learned, are voting for McCain because they think Obama is not a Christian. And these are intelligent people, college graduates, great people that I get along with. I totally forgot about this until right now, but when she told me I just wished that we could have been out there and I could have had a conversation with them about their choice. Not to impose upon them MY CHOICE, but to simply inform themselves and use good, factual information to make THEIR CHOICE.
- give me their address
and i will kill them******** - the same can be said of uniformed college kids who think it's "cool" to vote for Obama. same for most blacks********
- "most blacks", just wow dude.DrBombay
- are you kidding me? what do you think the % will be of blacks voting for Obama? 98%+********
- and 98% of them are just doing it because he is black, you are a racist dude, wow.DrBombay
- absolutely, that's why they are doing it. are you kidding me!?********
- at least I have the balls to say it. you know it's true. all of you do, come on man********
- Just wow dude.DrBombay
- there are no free thinking black people in this country, is that what you are saying?DrBombay
- None of them read, they have the mentality of slacker college kids, is that what you are saying?DrBombay
- yeah exactly, just wow. You know of any blacks yourself voting for McCain?********
- seriously, do you know of any yourself? and I am talking your average, not college educated, whch there are few of in comparison.********
- comparison.********
- I don't see how that relates to what you are saying.DrBombay
- man, you dug a massive racist hole in this note box...DrBombay

It's amazing, all this rhetoric, "most important night", "historic", "getting America back on track", "positive gains" etc. If BO wins, good for the Democrats, we had eight years of GWB. But let's face it, it's going to be business as usual and there is little, if anything, BO, or JM for that matter, can do to easily erase the last eight years within a four year span.
- You're hopeless. Than why fucking vote if it makes no difference. Your attitude sucks.TheBlueOne
- And if I hadn't voted for GWB in the last election or you Kerry?********
- but you think bush did a great job the last 8 years, so what is to erase?DrBombay
- I never said that. I argued that he wasn't the worst president.********
- you defend him left and right... again, just wow dude. You are dishonest as hell.DrBombay
- good for you for being apathetic. To a lot.. A LOT ... of people it is a really big deal. Bug off.monkeyshine
- it's all a bunch of bunk talk and you know it********
- No, I don't know it. This is the biggest election in my life time. Don't let yourself go through life with such crust in your eyes.monkeyshine

US is entering recession, theres little to do about it anyway, Obama is elected, hordes of redneck shiteaters give black people the blame
- Yup. It's going to work out quite well for them.TheBlueOne

You're probably right, JazX. So, look a little further, expand your reach a bit... because much can be done in the next four years that will make things either worse or better 10, 20 years down the road...
- DrBombay0
All you have to do is look back to the crack smoking 80's under Bush Sr. and then the prosperity of the 90's under Clinton to illustrate that JazX doesn't know beans about what he is talking about.
- And you think that was entirely Clinton's doing, all the prosperity at that point?********
- That is not what I said, but to see a complete economic transformation happen in 4 years isn't unrealistic.DrBombay
- recently http://www.washingto…********
- Misunderstood what you were saying. Wasn't it Clinton that allowed Freddie and Fannie to give out those mortgages?********
- So easily that is? People that couldn't afford them.********
- yeah there werent any lenders giving loans to people who couldnt possibly pay them back...DrBombay
- not asking for tax forms for the past x amount of years or anything like that.DrBombay
- not caring if they could pay them off or not, just to get a commission check and then sell the debt down the road.DrBombay
- you tell me, because the thing collapsed.********
- tell you what?DrBombay
- Sorry but the 'prosperity' you speak of was actually a bubble. False prosperity Rick, false. A snowglobe really.tommyo
- Yeah, times were horrible for everyone when Clinton was President, I know what you mean.DrBombay
- I'm not talking dotcoms, tommy.DrBombay
- Neither am I.tommyo
- See we're in a recession right now and that's what's known as the market trying to adjust itself from a false inflated value.tommyo
- so times have never been good in my working lifetime at all then...DrBombay
- We're not talking about times being good or bad. We're talking about the term 'prosperity of the 90's'tommyo
- And you think that was entirely Clinton's doing, all the prosperity at that point?

I just got into an argument with a McCain supporter in my building. He just said to me "Well look, you're obviously a kool aid drinking low information voter who is voting for Obama just because he's black. You just wait and see all the socialism that's he's about to unleash on us."
I was caught between clocking him in the jaw and laughing out loud, especially 'cause he called me "low information voter". This from a guy who tells me everyday what Rush Limbaugh just said.
I just had to walk away. Makes no difference at this point.
- kick him in the bean bag for me plzkthksbyekona
- Out of curiosity where do you get your info? NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS perhaps?********
- Not from Rush Fucking Limbaugh.TheBlueOne

Here's some more info about two in my GF's family. They're voting McCain because his values are more in line with theirs (whatever, but I'll give them that at least, maybe they know something I don't) but the real zinger of a reason is this:
Because Obama is [ pledging to] giving 2 billion to Africa and feel that the money could be better spent at home.
And, no doubt, these people were Bush supporters. Makes me think to send them this about their current president:
--
When President Bush came to power in 2001, the US spent $1.4bn a year on humanitarian and development aid in Africa. By 2006, the figure had quadrupled to $5.6bn a year. And it is likely to get bigger. The centrepiece of Mr Bush's aid to Africa is the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (Pepfar), a five-year, $15bn Aids prevention and treatment programme launched in 2003. His most recent budget proposes doubling the funding to $30bn over the next five years.
-------- mg33, do you know how much israel got only last year?GeorgesII
- Best thing Bush did was the Africa Malaria funding.
http://www.msnbc.msn…
Mimio - Great humanitarian effort. Seriously.Mimio
- I'm just saying... $2bn is small change in the bigger picture. they just don't see that I guess.mg33
- this money goes to contractorsKwesiJ

Although Democrat strategist Donna Brazile has talked for months about racism being the elephant in the room this campaign, here's an elephant Donna and her ilk are afraid to address: in some districts in this country, it will be VERY difficult for pollsters to find folks willing to admit they voted for McCain. With the election as tight as it is, just a few percent of such embarrassed-to-look-like-racists will give the appearance that Obama has won key battleground states.
- I love it when you post links to that web site.DrBombay
- It's as though I posted links to the Daily Kos and tried to act like it didn't have a serious bias.DrBombay
- Rick, it actually happened here in Los Angeles in the 80's. It's called the Bradley Effect. http://en.wikipedia.…tommyo
- I'm not saying that that's what's happening but it's a phenomena that has happened in the past.tommyo
- I know what it is, but can't you see the satisfaction JazX gets in talking about it? He's a fucking racist piece of shit.DrBombay
- What do you care about the satisfaction he gets out of talking about it?tommyo
