When people say that Trump respects women, show this to them.

Is anyone else seeing an uptick in Obama and Hillary stories on Facebook from a slew of conservative 'sources'?
It seems like there's an influx of posts now that to me are obviously trying to distract from Trumps ludicrous horse shit.
Or maybe it's just me and I need new friends. And family.

- what is with the alt rights obsession with Leslie Jones?inteliboy
- There obsession: she be blackutopian
- she's Milo's obsession more than anyone... think it all started w/his shittalking about the nw GhostbustersPonyBoy
- Milo was then best thing trending for Leslie Jones after such a stinky reboot.
https://i.imgur.com/…******** - Except she's a successful comedian, a regular on a hit television show, and has starred in a movie and commercials. People didn't know Milo existed last monthmonospaced
- Yet by the look of that chart, Milo seems to stay above the rim against Leslie Jones. Hows that work?********
- Looks like she is on a steady trajectory while Milo has faded into irrelevancereanimate
- perhaps, but his average is way higher compared to someone with her own tv show, movie and establishment of comedy which i find impressive.********
- Let's face it his career is dead now, no one wants to hire a pedoreanimate
- Milo was a nobody and still is. He's not a tv personality. He's forgotten as soon as he peaked for a brief embarrassing 10 minutes.monospaced
- Celebrities berated by the powerful media, ie: Pee Wee Herman, Mike Tyson, Rodney Downey Jr have all made comebacks into society.********
- ...but still Milo's baseline was much higher than Leslie Jones which is surprising given her media profile status.********
- Milo isn't a celebrity. Derp. Leslie Jones appears on TV weekly. Social media status is meaningless, plus she would whoop fuckface Carson's ass in a fightmonospaced
- I think you could be underestimating Milo and social media status. Jones only outlet is SNL, surpassing Kenan Thompson but not Milo.********
- A large part being the Millennial reach, Netflix and Amazon moving in on Hollywood, and Milo being an intelligent voice vs an SNL skit.********

Sad day for public education in the United States. The U.S. House of Representatives has introduced Bill 610. This bill will effectively start the school voucher system to be used by children ages 5 to 17, and starts the de-funding process of public schools.
The bill will eliminate the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) of 1965 which is the nation's educational law and provides equal opportunity in education. It is a comprehensive program that covers programs for struggling learners, AP classes, ESL classes, classes for minorities such as Native Americans, Rural Education, Education for the Homeless, School Safety (Gun-Free schools), Monitoring and Compliance and Federal Accountability Programs.
The bill also abolishes the Nutritional Act of 2012 (No Hungry Kids Act) which provides nutritional standards in school breakfast and lunch. For our most vulnerable, this may be the ONLY nutritious food they have in a day.
The bill has no wording whatsoever protecting special needs kids, no mention of IDEA and FAPE.
Some things the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) of 1965 does for Children with Disabilities:
-ensures access to the general education curriculum
-ensures access to accommodations on assessments
-ensures concepts of Universal Design for Learning
-includes provisions that require local education agencies to provide evidence-based interventions in schools with consistently underperforming subgroups
-requires states in Title I plans to address how they will improve conditions for learning including reducing incidents of bullying and harassment in schools, overuse of discipline practices and reduce the use of aversive behavioral interventions (such as restraints and seclusion- The Republitards are running shit now.utopian

- 1. A bill that establishes a program that will allow kids to choose either public or private school.
Didn't work
1. ESEA of 1965
2. No Hungry Kids Act******** - Parents can already choose a private school. You clearly do not understand this basic shit, so please go away.monospaced
- you already established the 610 bill is a voucher system, but never mentioned it can be used for private or home-school.********
- ..which is a huge point. For clarity it's not de-funding, but rather allowing folks freedom to redistribute funds how they see fit.********
- yes, which defunds public schools in favor of unregulated education that is ultimately going to favor certain socio-economic and other groups over othersmonospaced
- this also provides a vehicle in which tax dollars go directly toward alternative facts schools that will teach creationism or worse, ignorance (home school).monospaced
- it's being sold as some happy choice that makes everyone happy, but everyone who actually works in the system knows that's a crock of bullshitmonospaced
- The bill doesn't defund it empowers people to fund their own education how they see fit.********
- Exactly. So they can create schools that teach science denial, alt fact sex ed, and any number of various religious doctrinesmonospaced
- This is literally a way to divert funds from public education, which would dismantle in some areas and create life dumb assholes like youmonospaced
- create moremonospaced
- Did you forget that America is a place where we have freedom of choice which you choose to destroy instead of embrace?********
- That freedom of choice also includes religion.********
- You might as well argue on the side of monopolistic business practices at the same time.********
- It'll be easier if you save us the time and just start persecuting Christians with a machete while citing wisdom from Bill Nye the Science Guy********

- ^ there's also separation of church & state. so why should tax dollars be used to subsidize religious education?dorf
- Imagine if tax money was used for Islamic schools, knuckle dragging right wingers like omg would go ballisticreanimate
- thats not a stopping block in privatizing education. usually when not opening doors to gendered bathrooms, liberals seem to think Islam is a goto source...********

- Once again. There is. I attack on religion or religious choice here. Private schools have always existed. The issue is that they are going to accept tax $$$!monospaced

Number one thing to control healthcare costs is to accept the idea you do not need insurance. That one thing is huge. Repeal all obamacare and rules that give market advantages to insurances and tax breaks to companies that provide insurances. To take back the healthcare market you have to have a large decline of the insured. The insurance companies got control of the markets and artifically help inflate prices and create bubbles in areas around complex rules and regulations. There is also a fundamental problem with insurance in that if affordable it creates incentives for poor behavior where the cost is passed on to others (driving prices higher) but non direct. I usually think the only real need for insurance is the big C, but im starting to think that is unlikely looking at life expectancy from cancer treatments in the 70s relative to cost vs now. Im thinking its simply insurance companies striking deals with big pharma to accept the payout for their latest drugs, which is a win win for both of them and a loss for us. And that is the problem when free markets dont work and third party players get the power.
Is it the politicians fault? They can't get hired unless they sell something the ppl want. Who doesn't want the idea of free unicorns and bliss for all. Would a politcian get reelected if he told the ppl they were fucking stupid buying lies of previous fools...
I dont expect any real change in healthcare because the majority of people have been told to many sweet lies, and theyll choose to believe them despite all reason. Humans are funny creatures in the way they can lie to themselves.
