40-45 at my FT job. I have too much other stuff going on, and a semi-long (though productive) commute, to work more hours regularly. I've done 70/week average before. Not fun.
I do pick up freelance work on occasion - which can be another 15-20 hours a week, depending. But, I get to be picky with that. Either it's easy, fun, or pays really well (or some combination of the 3).

Never more than 40-45 during the week. Corporate world doesn't like paying overtime to designers.

Over the summer, it's around 40 hours.
During the school year it's around 12 hours of work, as I have school. Around 25 hours of class + more hours for assignments and projects.

40-50 hours. obviously client needs change everything...the most i've billed is 60 hours thus far. i can not see how anyone can work more than 6 days a week....burn out?
