I apologize in advance... but am grateful my 'look n feel' aren't there...
... I comped for this wreck-of-an-idea actually...
... met the crew behind it when i was in Chicago (and unfortunately... the company I was going to 'work for' in Chicago was all for helping launch this 'idea' even though it went against EVERYTHING the company I went to 'work for' was supposedly about...)...
... what a joke of an idea... what a slap in the face to intellectual thought and property worldwide.

The way Judi thought she could easily mislead this group with her post in the other thread, and draw our attention away with this thread, the tone of her overall responses, along with Matthew's responses and insincere apology -- this really says a lot about what Aquent staff think about creative people.

Judi, first of all, couldn't you have introduced yourself as a representative of Aquent in the first place just like Matt did? That might have prevented a lot of the anger you see in this thread.
Second of all, isn't it in Aquent's interest to put forth some kind of unified front over this? We spend a lot of time convincing Matt why the contest was a bad idea, and then once he's fully convinced and has issued an apology on the Aquent site (presumably presenting Aquent's opinion on the matter), you jump in and we're back to square one.
If you are wondering why people took offense to it, just read the original thread. But it's essentially for the EXACT SAME REASONS the site you posted is objectionable, so I'm surprised you're even asking to be honest.

By the way, the original thread (which links to this one) is now in the fourth page of Google results for Aquent. And obviously this is one of the most well-trafficked sites in terms of Aquent's target audience. You'd think the company would care somewhat about offering a coherent response, instead it seems they're just firing from the hip.
- maybe thats why they started a new thread under "crowd spring" instead of Aquent.
lets go back to that onesintaxera

A buyer's comment:
'I like how a lot of this looks, and I like the layout at the bottom. I think the look of the blue buttons look a bit out of place. Maybe look more like what we are going for if most of the corners were a little bit rounded. If center content area spanned the entire width so there was no empty space surrounding it, it would also make it feel less claustrophobic.'

this is awesome. i'm going to break out some of my old student work from 1999 and start submitting it for everything. i'm going to try and load their system with utter shite.
- sigg0
or i guess i could upload all the work i'm doing now and either way it will be complete shite.

can someone please tell me how this relates to aquent? i must have missed something, but i'm genuinely curious...

I'm completely disgusted... It's time for a designer revolution to clear out these types and let the artists rise once again.
