wasnt someone asking about greyhounds from canada to kansas city last week?

a bus is a confined space. for something like that to happen, and especially without warning would be terrifying. i don't blame those people, though i feel sick and very sorry for whoever it was because its says they left on the bus to be further mutilated.
i have my fingers crossed that this is some sick fucking viral or performance art, but i'm sure it's real.
- I know what you mean by your first paragraph. Just thinking about it makes me more sick.Jaline
- it said he decapitated the guy. what the fuck did he have in his bag?7point34
- he'd have sawed his head off at the neck with the knife he stabbed him with.kelpie
- this is one of the most horrific things I have ever heard.kelpie
- sorry, that was really graphic :-/kelpie
- well that was exactly my thinking... that sick fuck either had another weapon or put an awful lot of effort into it7point34
- if that kind of person gets off for temporary insanity i'll be sick7point34
- He just may :(Jaline

You should drive yourself. It's two hours.
Actually, just take the bus. It may be more safe. Someone may even give you a "talk" about the previous incident. Sit right at the front of the bus if you're worried. I think it's more shady when you go long distances and go near rural areas or the Prairies.

Apparently the victim was 18 years old.

Like others have said, pitiful nobody did anything. And for the naysayers that think it's just talk and in real life most people wouldn't help....BS....I can guarantee I wouldn't sit and watch this happen (if he had a gun it might be different) and there are plenty of others who wouldn't either.
This psycho shouldn't have just been stopped, he should have been killed by an angry mob.
Truly disturbing and sad.

"The man hadn’t talked to anyone around him, and seemed to pay no attention to the younger fellow sitting next to him, who was listening to music on headphones."
Bet he had it on really loud and this guy flipped out. Who knows, fuck. This is the most disturbing article I've read for a long time.
Seeing violence in real life is way different to seeing it in the movies. I'd be running for cover, no doubt.

I challenge anyone to jump into the fray with someone crazy enough to do what this guy did. Seriously. If you think that you would have the balls do do so then put on a cape and start flying around.
Even after years of training to deal with knives and self defense the real thing cause you to panic, go pale as a ghost and puke your guts out.
- Nobody can know 100% unless it actually happened to them. But deep down inside I just know I would have done something....anythin... to stop it.designbot
- something....anythin... I could to try and stop it.designbot
- Its a great sentiment and a testament to your character to be sure but I wouldn't be so quick to judge the people that were there thats all.scrap_paper
- where there that's all.scrap_paper
- thanks.
I do see your point.designbot

I wouldn't be surprised if words had been exchanged between these two (victim & attacker) at one of the rest stops, or he looked at him the wrong way or something.
The attacker may have had some type of grudge. I don't see it as being random. If the attacker was unstable which he clearly is/was, something between the two of them might have provoked it.
- For some reason, I hope you're right. Because something random scares me more.Jaline

The interview with the passenger above gets across how FUCKED UP this all was
