Buckfast Blues, an illegal party somewhere in Old Street (London) - Justin Robertson and Slam on the decks, people gone FUBAR topped off with the sight of the most enormous geezer in the place, passed out on the dance floor with five bouncers trying to pick him up.&
Strutt, another party in a rundown part of north London, Andrew Weatherall and Billy Nasty. the drugs did work.

My new years eve party just gone. DJed for seven hours, loads of gear, tons of girls and all my mates. My house looked like a club, proper.
Midnight tune was Your Love by Frankie Knuckles. ACE.

Hahah, one time I came to/woke up in a booth at an Eat-N-Park Restaurant to a guy going, "You can't sleep here. Get out." To which I looked around and went, "Where am I?" And he goes, "Eat-N-Park", so I of course went, "Well ... which one?""Okay pal, get the hell out of here." was the response I got.
I start laughing, tell him I'm being serious I know of like 20 Eat-N-Parks. He tells me his bodunk town and I involuntarily go, "Where the fuck is Etna?" to which he again asked me to leave or he was going to call the cops. So I asked if he could bring me a menu. So I have breakfast and find out I'm in this town I never heard of, and I have zero idea what the hell I'm going to do as of course my phone is dead and I couldn't remember where I was at, who I was with, and why I was there, haha.
So I walk out and go to a grossery store to use their ATM (broken), get something to drink after breakfast and start walking when I ask the lady, "Say can you point me in the direction of Pittsburgh? I imagine I have a far walk in front of me."
Nicest lady in the world, she shut down her register, didn't make me pay for anything, called a cab and paid for it when it came. I couldn't believe it. She was just laughing about how she remembers when her boys were young, and how easy going I was with the whole situation, haha.
So turned out I was about 15/20 miles away from where I originally started the nite and basically lived. I waltz in the front door at about 11AM and my cousin goes, "ROMEY!!! OW!!!" and throws me a beer and I just started it all over again, haha.
Now I've woken up in places I didn't expect to countless times, but this was the first (and thankfully only) time I've ever woken up to having zero idea where I am at.

ybor city is tres speedy but they throw such killer parties. killer parties almost killed me.

Our little house parties were fun back a few years ago
Actually inspired a local gallery started by my roommate and his half-brother. a story which nobody really knows.I have a pretty firm belief the more community focused parties always do
something really incredible a la nyc loft parties circa 1970s.....
The parties i used to frequent around the way always seemed to attain this.

My last night in Tokyo.
DJ Shadow playing Deep Funk at AIR.
After 6 months of no weed, hot boxed my buddy's mitsubishi before the show. Met a brilliant Brazillian/Japanese girl. Proceeded to get smashed. Partied until dawn. Went back to her place .Jetted back to Canada later that day.
simple, but it was awesome.

Got drunk and stacked my skateboard, got driven to doctors to visit the brush and get some stitches (you do not ever want the brush) drank some more, danced to carl cox slept on football oval and woke up with phone number of the lady I ended up marrying.
