Staring in July I retire my car to my mom's driveway in the 'burbs.

hmmm, let's see, if I tally up my payment, insurance and gas expenses I'm spending about $995/mo. to drive my vehicle. My other alternative is to stand at the bus stop when it's 95°F at 7AM and do a 2 hour commute to work, then wait for the bus at 6PM when it's 106°F to do the same 2 hours back home. Believe me, I wish I lived somewhere that had dependable public transportation but it simply is not a realistic option here.
