Hi all,
I'm a graphic design and just been working on an online DTP app which allows you to create your own online screen based magazines, fanzines, portfolios etc:
Based on DTP software like Quark or InDesign, its been created in Flash and is aimed at designers, illustrators etc.
All comments and feedback are welcomed, thanks!

how is this relevant or useful? why not just use quark or indesign? how does making this in flash make it good?

i will say though, this might have interesting applications as a component for other web apps, if it had a HTML / PDF export feature.

It's good in theory, but there is software out there that converts your printed mag into flash already (flash paper comes to mind). Cool idea though.

It's not meant to replace things like Quark or InDesign, it's been made to help illustrators, designers etc who may not know how to build their own sites but want an online presence.
Basing it on something that they may find familiar like a DTP package was a way to help the learning curve ...
Yeah, it's starting to be quite a crowded in converting offline work straight to web. An export feature would be nice. It does let you save your projects as offline .exe's for distributing on CDROMs, USB's etc.
