Just curious how you got into design? I wanted to be an Archaeologist when I was a kid. Never had an art class until my senior year in high school (vocational) when I transferred to Graphic Communications my jr year. (I had transferred there the day before school started b/c my friend at the dentist told me he was going there.) My art teacher said I could make money doing this. Also by chance I got into newspaper design using rubylith and blue drafting pencils in middle school b/c there was a retired lady from the local post that was a volunteer.

I've always enjoyed making things and I've always done so, so I guess it was natural that I still make things.

I spent a lot of time in the local library. Hours every few days. In 1999 I just came across this book called, "Cool Kids' Guide to Making Web Pages" or something very similar and I was really into it. I had never been consistent with anything else before. I made one site about Pokemon, and another about books. It got me into trouble at home because I would spend time learning HTML and making sites at Homestead and Geocities.

Wanted to be a truck driver at age 6. Worked in a factory after HS, signed up for college and they had on file that I was going into graphic design. I am still not sure how that ever happened. It was the best choice I never made!
