I think it looks amazing. I can not wait to see that shit.

I like most of M. Night Shyamalan's stuff. Even if the story sucks, there is something about his projects that I enjoy. Maybe it's the cinematography or suspense. The only one I did not see is Lady in the Water, and that's because it didn't interest me at all.
Zooey Deschanel is in this as well, and she's worth checking out.
- +1 at the Zooey commentlajj
- Agreed. Though Zooey recently in Sci-Fi's 'Tin Man' was abhorrant. The whole thing.********

I liked Lady in the Water.. and the thought that it was a fairytale written for one of his kids is just sweet.

I wonder if he's learned to make good film yet?

I hope it isn't shit. From the bits'n'pieces I've seen around, it looks like a really good idea, though I have a morbid fascination with ideas of mass sudden death and terror.

Looks pretty good... but I hope there is more to the story than people just falling over. Also, I love that most of his movies are filmed or take place in Pennsylvania.
Was anyone able to watch the "red band trailer" for it?
- hmmm, I read more about the story and it actually seems like it could be a good plot...TeganTorch

M night does great movies and stories they are actually incredibly good well observed with great twists and strong characters, the films should only be 30 to 40 minutes long though at the most he strings them out like a man with a sore tummy and ruins them they really are only good for about 40 minutes max, great stories but fucked up by people not knowing when to say M night give it a rest.

looks like a zombie flick.
i like zombie flicks.
i will not see it because it will SUCK and i will hate him more for ruining something i really like.

This is his first movie that is rated R; he was against it at first but producers convinced him it should be. I'm very curious about it. It might be dumb but no one really even knows what it's about yet.
The Village, I thought, was excellent.

I loved The Village and Signs, and I think he's the only director right now that knows how to add suspense to a movie.

The impression I got from the pre-Indy preview was that it might be something to do with Tinnitus gone bad, which - given that I've been experiencing wee bouts of Tinnitus recently, makes a lot of sense. It drives you fucking nuts if you let it in.

Looks dope....M. Knight has made some really good movies all though his last (Lady in the Water) was probably the worst movie I have ever seen.
He seems to have been typecast as a director into "having" to make some huge plot-twist-climactic ending to all his films....which I swear he got from the Twilight Zone. Or perhaps he has painted himself into this corner.
- he painted himself.7point34
- If you always have a certain expectation of a director, you are partly to blame. A large part is the director's responsibility,Jaline
- responsibility, of course, but the viewer doesn't have to watch his films.Jaline
- And I've learned that going into a film with low expectations is ideal for me. Not everyone can though :/Jaline

Seff, I just listened to that Pixies song about 50 times. I love the last part.
The Happening:
they got a ranch they call
number fifty-one
they got a ranch they call
number fifty-one
can't see it all
'less your flying by
just sitting there square
baking in the sun
beneath the skythey're gonna put it down
right on the strip
they're gonna put it down
on the Vegas strip
they're gonna put it down
and step outside
into the lights
right outta that ship
saying Hi!i was driving doing nothing on the shores of Great Salt Lake
when they put it on the air i put it in the hammer lane
i soon forgot myeslf and i forgot about the brake
i forgot all laws and i forgot about the rain
they were talking on the 9 and all across the amy band
across the road they were turning around and headed south with me
it got so crowded on the road i started driving in the sand
my head was feeling scared but my heart was feeling free
the desert turned to mud it seems that everybody heard
everybody was remembering to forget they had the chills
then i heard the voices on a broadcast from up on the bird
they were getting interviewed by some Goodman whose name was Bill
i'm almost there to Vegas where they're puttin' on a show
they've come so far i've lived this long at least i must just go and say
hello

I like the Saw series (yes, I do), so I don't mind Marky Mark too much.
- i liked the first saw despite elwes' horrible performance. i like the films7point34
- Because I equate Mark with his brother, Donnie Wahlberg. They have similar styles of acting.Jaline
- (Mark was not in Saw, to clarify)Jaline
- Saw? Already seen it.********
- Okay, lies. I don't like creepy/ scary things so I never attempted to watch.********
