Can you believe it? I was just now able to log my run from this morning. What a day?
Nice running Mr VectorM, not bad! But I'm closer now, and I will be even closer this weekend. ;-)

Getting closer. Between yesterday and today 13.42 miles (22.6 Km). Let's see what tomorrow brings.
And I really hope you guys are taking a break! ;-) It's easier to catch up that way.

10 more miles today! So the total for this week is almost 40 miles (64 Km). Even though I'm sore, I feel pretty good about it. You guys have doing great too! Nice running!
Need to keep going though, because I'm going to win this challenge. ;-)

Well I'm pretty fed up with running.
This is why aside from just not being there to attempt a 10k run..., I just don't have the patience to do more than 40 minutes.
I need a break. I'm seriosuly looking forward to the vacations we will get between this Challenge and C5. I'll eat like a pig and not run a single metre. Until then... for this next week I expect to do another 30-35 k this next week.- too many "next week"

Running can be boring, that's why I try to run outside as much as I can. There are times though, that I have to run on my treadmill, and it's so boring, especially when runs are as long as today.
I pretty much know everything there is in the room. So I began watching movies while running. Today I watched The Bourne Identity, pretty entertaining movie.
So if you are bored, watch a movie, it really helps! ;-)- That's hot.

I was in LA since thu and I missed my runs on friday and monday, I did logged one today but I thought this was over on the 1st..magically I went from 7th to 5th.. without logging runs.. so we have 2 quitters or what?

that's a good distance dyspl.
That's was my average at the beginning of this challenge, but since this bunch of dudes pushed me to run more, I have improved my distances. My average now is like 6k. Keep runnin' and you'll see the difference on the next challenge.

I'm wondering ; how do you do to run like every day without injuring yourself. When I try to run more often than every 2 days, I feel my legs hurt.

I run 3 times a week.
and stretch after 5 min walk and before running.Pain is there for the first 2 weeks (6 runs in my experience) then it goes away.. but then again... I'm no doctor and you should consult one if in doubt.

Well, You just need to be awesome.
For example. I'm awesome, and extremely handsome. Got a nice bum that the ladies love and my hair is shiny.Also... It was a fricking nightmare at first. I had to take a several days off to recover. I had a slight problem on my ankle and took several days off, then a problem on the thigh...
The key is to keep going and overcome the pain or discomfort. Getting over this obstacles only make you stronger

dyspl - it's just a matter of time. Like the others said, when you begin it will hurt no matter what. It gets better as you keep logging miles/Km. I'm now a regular runner, I run about 5/6 days a week and on average 8Km per run. I do long runs during the weekend (up to 30Km at once). The more you run, the more distance you can cover.
Running is fun but it hurts! Especially when you have a couple of dudes like lvl_13 and VectorM that don't give up, and you need to keep going!! ;-) Mainly because you told they are going to loose, and they will!
