got in a 4.5 mile run this morning. it felt good. i see that vector also mananged to get another run in thereby holding on to first...bastard!

yep. I ran 7 k last nite close to midnight after work.
Honestly it was the most painful run ever. Just yesterday's evening I felt some horrible discomfort in the thigh area on my left leg. Every step was pain. Thought it was the muscle, but to my surprise when I got home, it was a massive pimple. Thing rubs against my other leg and it hurts. :o(- oh man too much infomightyj

Hey guys I'm out. I ran another 14k yesterday and it only registered 2k. I have been screwed out of nearly 40k now and I've had enough.

Hey Jevad,
this could be a stupid question, but are you sure you placed the sensor in the right position? I've heard of bad readings but yours are pretty f'ing bad. It always has to be with the logos up, and as firm as possible.

Yeah man it's logo up in a fixed position in my shoe! I ran firmware update, I calibrated...nothing. It's pretty fucked up really. I also pulled something yesterday that hurts like buggery so it's probably best I don't run at all till it's better - at which point you chaps will be uncatchable! Great running though - you guys pushed hard!

Sorry to hear, man! Take care of your leg and hopefully you can figure out why it sucks that bad.
I think though that the main issue is the SportBand. I heard why too many people bitching about it. I have it too, and I also had very bad readings. So I never really use it.

I'm going to write a complaint letter to nike...not that it will help. I'll probably just end up buying the nano attachment this week anyway...

You wouldn't be the first! So many people returned their SportBand for that very reason. The idea is great, but the actual functionality is very weak. At least with the normal iPod attachment you can really calibrate it and it seems to work much better.
Nike+ is a pedometer on steroids, so, like the standard one, has his problems. ;-)
