I really enjoyed it, went to see it hungover on saturday. Nice hungover brainless film. Downey was good, very likeable and made a good Tony Stark, thought the suit was cool, some funny bits.
However, Im sure I would have enjoyed it a whole lot more if Mrs Gwinney 'Human vacuum of personality' Paltrow wasn't in it.

I have a feeling that pretty soon big-budget movies will no longer have unrealistic effects.
Transformers and Iron Man have been flawless, efects-wise.

The model building, puppets, and stop motion effects of Star Wars still look more real to me than most digital vfx spectacles. And that's 30 years old.

Saw this last night & hated almost every moment of it. Well, until the end credits - with "Iron Man" playing and some really cool wireframes.

Saw it last night. Thought it was better than average (though only because I have such low expectations of super hero movies).
Much as I liked the chemistry between Robert and Gywinnie throughout I really agreed with Mark Kermode's review about their voices...
The Shield stuff means nothing to me, I'm obviously not nerdy enough. So was I alone in spotting the Jeff Bridges Lebowski reference?
