Has anybody tried it?

tried it, but didn't find anything for continuing using...

I played with it a while back, after someone here mentioned it.
I gave up pretending to give a shit about all the browser inconsistencies when rendering CSS a long time ago, and this certain;y seemed to be someway toward a solution - the grid structure did work pretty well. I think I'd consider using it for smallscale projects, with a quick turnaround - though I'd be wary about using it on big sites, unless I stripped a lot of it out (in which case, I'd be better off starting from scratch).
Suffice to say, unless you're a real code head - it's probably worth a fiddle.

mmm... so not that great then.
- Dunno - give it a whirl and see? I'm probably not the best exponent for a CSS framework.detritus

i liked the potential. but found it a bit confusing when implementing the different css files. hopefully it'll be bought up and put into a wysiwyg interface....

looks like you'd have to spend a bit of time figuring out how they've worked it all and if you already do a lot of layout work you would probably have a couple of base files you use for new projects which have various classes and typographical styles setup ready to edit.

Hmm...maybe I'll try it.

Aye, exactly as Jamble states - but, if you're like me and don't have a base structure, it's probably a good start.
Right? Or not? I don't know - I don't code enough these days to know, but I certainly thought it was a good start.

why not just use tables?

i've had luck using Eric Meyer's CSS Sculptor for getting basic grid structure down with regards to columns, header/footer and implementing basics (color, typeface/size/etc. It's an extension in Dreamweaver.

cssedit good

Roll your own. A framework like this is going to be too hefty filesize wise and take too long to figure all the rules out for it to be worth it.
