I was in a long term relationship in my twenties, like 7 years. I am not interested in investing that kind of time into much anything after that. People always say, "She's my soul mate" and other things like that. Funny thing is, if you moved 50 miles south of where you met this soul mate, you probably would be with someone else, calling them your soul mate.
