it's true, but in french cuisine that's usually not referring to a sauce that it's included with, it's usually referring to a method used to cook the dish.

Unless there is a shortened sort of slang for black bean sauce.. I don't know. Like "Steak au Poivre" can be steak with a creamy peppercorn sauce.. Who knows. Who cares. 2cents is happy.

I know, but it happens "Black Beans Sauce" is also a French cuisine concept when applied to chinese food, eg. If you google "sauce haricots noir" it pops up everywhere.

Is the cow asian beef or is the cow cooked with asian black bean's sauce? this is the question, because there's actually a "black bean sauce" in the east.
