What bullshit:
Dear CNN,
I like the way you display Obama & Michelle's, and Bill & Hillary's combined incomes, but leave CIndy McCain's $100million net woth out of that graphic. Probably discussing who's an "elite" no doubt. Fuck you Blitzer. If the world was just you're head should be on a pike somewhere.

"I was mulling over the ABC debate this morning and the moderators' claim that knocking Obama with a more or less uninterrupted stream of Swift Boat gotchas was justified by focusing the debate on 'electability'. And it occurred to me that we have now crossed an important threshold where the Republican operative cadre has sufficiently disciplined and trained the press (and more than a few Democrats) that their own role may simply be redundant.
Think about it. Organized campaigns of falsehoods, distortions and smears used to be something most people thought of as a bad thing, if not something that's ever been too far removed from American politics. Now, however, members of the prestige press appear to see it not as a matter of guilty slumming but rather a positive journalistic obligation to engage in their own organized campaign of falsehood, distortion and smear on the reasoning that it anticipates the eventual one to be mounted by Republicans. In other words, we've gotten past the debatable rationale that journalists have no choice but to cover smears and distortions once they're floated into the mainstream debate to thinking that journalists need to seek out and air smears and distortions on the grounds of electability, as though the mid-summer GOP Swiftboating was another de facto part of the election process like primaries, conventions and debates.
It's an expansive rationale under which Gibson and Stephanopoulos may have failed their civic responsibility by not pressing the point of whether Obama is a hereditary Muslim or his mother had a predilection for dark-skinned socialists.
As I've noted it's pretty nauseating and disillusioning that Sen. Clinton has now also convinced herself that she's providing a service by mounting her own Swift Boat campaign. But she is after all running a campaign.
In any case, at this stage it's not even clear the GOP slimesters ever have to come on the field. Journalists recognize their obligation to seek out potential Swift Boat tactics and do the job for them."

"We need a nominee who will take on John McCain, not cheer on John McCain, and I will be that nominee" - Hillary this weekend. Just fucking go away already.

I remember last year some reporter asked Hillary if she ever considered the possibility of not being the next president and she said, arrogantly, that she had never even considered it. Looks like she might have to start thinking hard about that one.

"Finally, I want to say a word about the basic decency I have seen in Mr. Obama. Mrs. Clinton continues to throw the Rev. Wright up in his face as part of her mission to keep stoking the fears of White America. Every time she does this I shout at the TV, 'Say it, Obama! Say that when she and her husband were having marital difficulties regarding Monica Lewinsky, who did she and Bill bring to the White House for 'spiritual counseling?' THE REVEREND JEREMIAH WRIGHT!'"

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Clinton said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

"Hillary Clinton will win Pennsylvania.
Arguments over the meaning or meaninglessness of her win will dominate MSM and stretch bandwidth to its breaking point. Bloggers and pundits will dust off their favorite boxing metaphors: "Hillary's off the ropes!" "Obama can't land the knockout!" Hillbots will rejoice, Obamabots will panic, and McCainbots will watch Murder She Wrote and go to bed at six-thirty. I'll probably write a scathing post attempting to prove that Hillary is the devil incarnate. We'll all lose our minds.
In hope of preventing some of this hysteria (especially my own), I thought it'd be helpful to keep a few things in mind during Tuesday night's results -- from Hillary's "victory" speech to the blizzard of spin that's sure to follow:
1. Remember that there's no way Hillary can become the nominee without a superdelegate coup -- which would alienate a generation of young Democrats and dangerously fracture the party.
2. Remember that her campaign leaked internals showing an eleven point lead (as a means of firing up her supporters and getting out the vote). Therefore, any win smaller than eleven points should be considered a disappointment by her own assessment.
3. Remember that every time Hillary begins a sentence with "you know," or "my opponent," the next thing out of her mouth is a lie.
4. Remember that when Clinton surrogates say "this proves Obama can't win the big states," they're ignoring the fact that he actually won more delegates in Texas -- not to mention twice as many states as she has.
5. Remember that when the pundits argue that Obama can't win in white rural areas because they broke for Hillary, they're ignoring the fact that he won (in alphabetical order): Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
6. Remember that when Hillary talks about who will be "better against John McCain in the fall," she's talking about the fall of 2012.
7. Remember that Hillary's campaign is $10M in debt, while Obama's has more than $40M in cash on hand.
8. Remember that Hillary's lead in Pennsylvania was as a high as 26 points only a month ago.
9. Remember that Hillary's late Pennsylvania rebound was forged in the fires of negativity and fear-mongering.
10. Remember that the only manufacturing job Hillary ever brought to Pennsylvania was the manufactured notion that she was a middle-class, whisky-swilling duck killer, and not an anti-union multi-millionaire. "

"...Donna Brazile, an uncommitted superdelegate as an official of the Democratic National Committee, and manager of the 2000 Gore campaign. "There's a group around [Sen. Clinton] that really wants to take the fight to the convention. They don't care about the party. It scares me, and that's what scares a lot of superdelegates."

Fuck the media, seriously. Here was the blurb on the front of CNN:
"I have to win," Clinton told reporters. "And I'm going to do everything I can to win." A CNN "poll of polls" suggests Clinton may pull off a victory over Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama. full story"
WTF is this "pull off a victory" shit? Clinton was expected to win Pennsylvania for months. That was NEVER NEVER in doubt. The fucking story here is that she SHOULD be winning it by double digits and Obama has managed to make it a single digit race. THAT'S the fucking story you Corporate Sell Out Media whores.
Excuse me, I'm going to go find Wolf Blitzer and stick flag pins into his flesh until he screams at me to stop, which, being the pussy that he is, will probably take about 14 to 23 seconds...

" Hillary: "A win is a win." Yes it is, Hillary. And you lost.
For the love of God, would a real reporter please just ask Hillary under what possible scenario she gets more delegates, more states, or more votes than Obama? You all keep playing this game of following her around like she's news. The only reason she's news is that she's an election zombie, roaming the primaries like she's still viable, when she's not. And you know it. And you've written it. But you don't ask her about it. Far more important than even Hillary's bizarre and ever-changing views on nuclear weapons policy is the fact that it doesn't matter any more what Hillary thinks about anything. She lost the nomination. She can't win. And short of an asteroid falling on Obama's head, he's going to get the nomination. We're all focused like a laser beam on the Pennsylvania results as if they matter. They don't. She lost. She can't catch up. We all know it. So why are we still playing this game? Because it would be mean to tell her the truth? Mean to ask her to explain how she possibly wins enough delegates, or even votes, when the math says she can't? What is she, 12? George Stephanopoulos said he couldn't think of a harder question to ask Hillary than as to why people don't trust her. Well, here's one, George: "Under what possible scenario could you catch up to Obama in either delegates or votes?" And don't accept her platitudes about "counting every vote." She can't mathematically overtake Obama, so what is she doing, other than wasting all of our time (and destroying her family's reputation)? (That's another "hard" question, George.)"
