Anyone have any recommendations on a good pair of headphones? Lookin for ones that cover my ears. Dont like ear buds. Lookin to spend around $70-80.

if you love heavy bass, then these KOSS headphones are the best.
they are open air headphones lacking outside noise canceling qualities other headphones have but they are the best for heavy bass tones.

Bose QuietSound 2 for enclosed ear, Quite3 for on the ear. The best for sound and quality. Been using mine for 2 years solid and they are still great.
And before anybody says anything negative, the battery life is good, for one AAA it's about 2/3 weeks and that a solid 7/8 hours a day listening.

By far the best quality sound I've experienced in a headphone. They are comparable to the MDR-V700 DJ phones but the bass isn't nearly as overwhelming. Highly recommended... and so is Sweetwater. Their customer service reps hooked me up when I sat on my first pair.

http://gear.ign.com/articles/356…Bought them in Tokyo in 2006, knew about them before then because I had the lower end version. Use them every day. Great quality, they fit so comfortably and isolate sound very well. They are not noise canceling, but I use them on the subway, bus, at work, and everything disappears.
Seriously, I cannot suggest these enough. You rarely see them. They don't sell them in the US. They are odd looking, but I will replace them and replace them again with only these if I ever lost them. Excellent bass and such a crisp sound overall.

I use these now days.
Pretty comfortable to wear for 8-12hrs flight. noise canceling works pretty well. the sound quality is pretty good. and it's relatively cheap. more info here.
