Dear QBN,
Please have a look at the site I have worked on. The client has finally gotten back to me after 5 months (good thing I had money paid throughout the process). The "brief" was to create a more modern site presenting the same information a bit differently and it had to be done in 30 hours (as per my fees).
All comments are welcome; I just hope some constructive ones come too. I am not entirely happy about it, but it is just about ready to go live. I was thinking about making a form-based Contact Us page, but I haven't done so yet.
Anyway, thanks in advance.

One suggestion I have is to develop the hierarchy of your copy a little more. Give it more visual variety if that makes sense. You are starting to do it here: http://www.normandegenetics.com/… with the main copy on the left versus the copy on the right hand column.
- i see. the right column's text is a big large. thanks.jaylarson

Your page body layouts are great, but I'm not really feeling the header - the main logo doesn't sit elegantly and the bare green/orange combo is a little insipid. Also, the nav buttons are weak - personally, i don't like the font and counting how many fonts you've got there, I see 4 on the page (logo text and sub text, nav, then body) - I'd consider swapping the nav font for one of the others already used, maybe in a different weight.
Not sure if the green is a requirement, but I'd consider knocking everything back to bare bones white and black, then building the colour up from that - it's a bit dense and the white/green transition abrupt as it is.
One thing popped into mind - it could be a bit tacky, but have you tried a subtle cow skin pattern in the background? A nice, big family of blotches sitting on white could look really nice. Or terrible :)
One last thing - the logo looks like it might benefit from a touch of Filter > Sharpen.
