Wiki Artist moves to London

I may not have updated my site in more than a year!!! But I have been busy. I have moved to London and am now looking for a studio and a gallery to attach myself to so if anyone knows of anywhere in London please let me know.
My paintings will go up in price from next week to be able to afford my London rent! so if anyone wants to order a wiki artist painting or print I advise you do so now before I add £100 to the price tag.
The idea of Wiki Art is a strange one. Some people get it immediately and it really works, others get hung up on the flaws of Wiki's in general and don't seem to appreciate that these flaws are part of what I like about the work. Projects like Wikipedia made us think about the work that goes into creating an encyclopaedia. Wiki Art questions the artistic process like never before.

you picked the wrong place to try selling your paintings as the majority of people on here are creatives and could easily do their own. or if they wanted to buy paintings then they would be looking for something of a bit more caliber and not so transparent.

Cheers for all the feedback! Very interesting. I like the 'everyone is an artist, everyone else is a cunt!' I don't think this is quite the place for a full explanation of my work, I'd rather write it in a wiki so you can delete it and write 'toga toga toga toga' instead!
I will say a bit more though for the one person who was interested! The wiki idea stems from my frustration with my own art. My paintings were always really symbolic, I would write essay after essay and even novels about them, but I never managed to convey anything like the depth with the final image.
I started making computer games and animations, 3D environments with my paintings as textures covering the space. I would get people to interact with them in new story telling environments, hoping that they would be more inclined to learn what they were about.
In galleries though nobody took the time to play the game either, So I kept making the paintings I wanted to but stuck a wiki address into the paintings in desperation really. It has lead to some interesting work though and I like the 'wiki artist' title, ‘transparent’ yes but still cool sounding. As proved by the release of a computer game character with the name Wiki which I saw today! (If that doesn’t in fact prove the opposite!)
If anyone can help me in London it would be great.

ffs, oh well. Been checking out the websites of the people who have basically been slating my whole last years work and they are all really cool...so the problem must rest with me, but maybe I am just not explaining it very well today. I certainly don't think it is just about deliberately confusing people to try and sound superior! If anything it is the opposite of that. If you hate the painting and the idea you can go to the website it connects to and write 'this is fucking shit'. That isn’t about superiority!

Actually the paintings aren't bad. Trying to sell wares on QBN however....is like walking through a mine field. We're a critical lot...but don't let that stop you.

I'm not having a personal stab Joshua. Really.
It *does* sound pretentious to me - but my opinion on "art" is quite literally not worth the pixels it is displayed on.
I am such a philistine that I once defaced a (art-student) flatmate's "cosmic womb" (cardboard box) he built in the attic replacing the words "cosmic womb" which were daubed on the structure with crayon with my own much more descriptive "pish studio".
Still friends with the cunt today, still think he's a hippy bastart.
