Hey guys! I need to have a few business cards printed fast and cheap. The whole design is based on Chipboard Cover style paper but budget was cut short and now I got to find a fast alternative.
Could you recommend affordable and easy to get paper for some printed pieces I need and a reliable online printer that would be able to print business cards using this look? This is a sample of the background for the pieces and business cards:
Thanks ya'll!!!

No online or fast print service is going to offer anything close to the paper stock you want. How many colors are you planning to print with? Two color, four color process?

What are your quantities and timeframe?
I would suggest printing on either French Paper's Speckletone:

or French Paper's Durotone:

If it's a simple one or two color job you may be able to get it printed cheaply at small local shop. You may be limited in paper selection for a small quantity.

timefrime? about 1 1/2 week. Quantities: still to be determined since the project changed abruptly but I am thinking it will be a small order. I guess my best bet will be to try with local small shops...

Find a local paper source and buy a ream of paper. Take it to a local printer and have them print it. For a thousand business cards, this should cost you around $150 – $250 total for a one or two color job.
- More or less, depending on the printer, where you are, price of paper, one- or two-sided, if there are screens...etc.duckofrubber

yeah, I guess that's my only option now... Thanks guys!

Ok, quick question, I found a local printer that woul dbe able to print them on their digital press since it is a small job. But the issue is that some of the paper that I had chosen might not work well now. French seems like a great option, but do you guys have any other suggestions of paper that would work?

Think you need to talk to your printer, if you have samples of the paper you wanted they may be able to suggest another one that will run through their printers. In my experience with printers in Dublin a lot of the digital printers won't put weird or unusual stock through their printers for fear of fucking them up and so only use paper they have in stock. The only way of finding out though, is to talk to em and see what they can or are willing to do for you.

yeah, we're working on that but the fucking paper companies don't stock shit anymore! everything is 2-3 weeks now....
