I facken hated this movie. Even after reading all the stupid discussions on the blogs about wether or not Chigurh is real or a ghost or whatever the fuck. I don't care about that, or the 'message'. This move plain blew.

Wasn't a big fan. I'm usually into films like this but I found it slow and overbearing. Took me three sessions to get through it.

good visuals, tho

The thing is - the movie grabbed me. I didn't find myself checking my watch once. But it spends a big chunk of time building up to a showdown between Chigurh and Lewellyn that you NEVER FUCKING SEE. As a result the dramatic tension between hero and villan, good and bad, becomes completely abandoned, and we are left to fill in the blanks and second guess ourselves.
- thinking death will wait for you - thats vanity. i thought the unexpected twist there was great.robco

It's true, sometimes even I get sick of the "hidden meanings", if there are any at all.

ffs when Tommy Lee pulls up to the hotel and the mexican bandits are peeling on out of there why didn't he chase them? He'll chase down a truck for having some loose tarpaulin in his hometown, pull it over, and give the guy a verbal, but he won't chase down a truck full of armed mexicans?
