great movie. I really enjoyed when it ended and hearing some people start booing, they really couldn't appreciate the movie and probably should of gone and seen "Hitman". The movie really does well in capturing McCarthy's style.

I feel like the Brothers did a great job with Cormac's content. Wants me to read the book nonetheless.

I thought it was pretty good. The last 15-20 minutes weren't as good, but it was a decent film. I'd give it an 8.5/10.

And the acting was awesome. Javier Bardem was intriguing.

I thought it was great. I have mixed feeling on the end too.
On a side note, I loved the Texan accents. They we're great. "Girl, ytou better quit you're hawlerin'." Also, the trucks were bad ass. Made me feel like a kid again when I used to love offroad trucks.

I need to go see it this week - it's at a theater across the street from me actually.

Great picture, far beyond most of what is out there these days. Obviously violent, but with a lot to say about that violence in a way that hasn't much been seen since the western days of Eastwood.

The thing is...I'm not really into Westerns. Or even Texas-type areas (no offense). But I do love character development. The problem is that sometimes the story the compromised when this development occurs. I think NCFOM does a decent job of everything, but it didn't have my attention the entire time during the last 10-15 minutes (compared to the rest of the film).

But I do give it a high score for being true to the novel.

I thought the ending was the most thrilling part, from the motel scene to the very end.
- I agree wholeheartedly.harlequino
- Everything was pretty good. It just got a little less exciting after Chigurh was in the car crash.Jaline

someone please care to explain to me the story about the 2 dreams Tommy Lee Jones had and how they relate to the movie .... its all philosophical I think .... but what do I know ....
I'm just not that smart .....- I don't know. It's exactly the last page of the novel though.Jaline

Just saw it tonight and loved it. Loved the quick and short dialog, lots of good quips and little statements by anyone who has a line in the movie.
Towards the end, I could not stop laughing at the kid on the bike who guys "Look at that fuckin' bone" after pointing out twice before that his bone was sticking out of his arm. Not sure why but that was hilarious to me.
I really like Brolin in this movie and need to see some of the others he's been in in the past year. He's sure come a long way from:

saw it tonight too, pretty amazing, thought provoking film, it warrants multiple viewings. Powerful themes of duality, existentialism and fate.
it's definitely not your typical hollywood movie.
