The thing is - the movie grabbed me. I didn't find myself checking my watch once. But it spends a big chunk of time building up to a showdown between Chigurh and Lewellyn that you NEVER FUCKING SEE. As a result the dramatic tension between hero and villan, good and bad, becomes completely abandoned, and we are left to fill in the blanks and second guess ourselves.
- thinking death will wait for you - thats vanity. i thought the unexpected twist there was great.robco
