Not yet but I really want to.

I just saw it today. Great film - starts off like a really good action movie, but evolves into something more complex by the end. Best Coen Brothers movie in some time.

saw it friday night. great, great flick. i mean, as long as you like how mccarthy writes - the coen brothers stick to it. so i was a huge fan but at the end credits i heard a couple "wait, what?" type remarks.
overall, though, a+. stellar all around. cinematography, acting, direction, adaptation from the book... might not be the coen brother's "best" (i mean i don't know how you compare it to the big lebowski or o brother where art thou as they're all totally different movies), but certainly worth 8 bucks.

Amazing movie. Javier Bardem is scarier than the Jack Nicholson.

heard very good things about it. Have to wait till next year though here in the UK.
This looks like, more along the lines of blood simple.

Not better than Fargo but very good. Deserves multiple viewings.

the acting was better than fargo

It's worth noting the Coens wrote and came up with the stories for most of their other movies (Fargo, Big Lebowski), while this one is based on a book by Cormac McCarthy. So this one has different vibe in some ways - more minimal, less quirky dialog. Interestingly, I hear McCarthy's The Road will also be turned into a movie, which should be interesting...

Saw it today, really loved. Pretty ballsy to end the film that way. One of the most satisfying flicks I've seen in a long time.

Really brilliant movie. I really liked Woody Harrelson's character and will read the book for more info. Currently I'm reading "the road" by mcCarthy...it's real dark, like real real dark.
- Some parts of the road made me sick in side, but I kept wanting to read on ;)_eh_
- i like the road better than no country. it's so spectacular.colin_s
- the road is so addicting. Its hard to put the book down. and is intensely dark.TheDrago
- Thanks for the recommendation. I just put "The Road" on my must-read list.blaw

I love the Coen Brothers but I am not a fan of Cormac McCarthy and was disappointed in the movie. I really want to like it; the casting was spot on, great acting but the storyline left me cold...and not in a good way. So many missed opportunities to explore relationships. I might be the only person I know so far who doesn't like it.
