No matter what watch I like leather strap..the metal bracelet watches always catch my arm hairs...and I like the look of a weathered leather band on a watch for that wabi sabi-ness.

(Nov 1 07, 05:24)yeah i generally go for that or that sort of rubber some have these days... I just dont like shiny stuff too much...
Although some models are MEANT to have the old metal bracelet...couldn't be done any other way... so i give in to those...

"the metal bracelet watches always catch my arm hairs"
As well as the visual reminder that time is indeed passing, it's the pulling of hairs that reminds me I exist.
If I didn't wear a watch, I'd have an existential crisis.

pam 183 and a 16610
been toying with the idea of selling and changing things up. But there are so many that I like. it's tough. Been liking a lot of the AP's and IWC's lately. And yes, watches are addictive.

I rock a couple of Nixon models. Want a Tag Heuer...and something swiss and military looking...

you should be. those who are not are not really buying them for the quality or fit, IMO. it is an important article to own/wear/use- the choice is particular to the person.

i also like the rolex gmt master II all black or the submariner all black also.... yeah i like black watches alright!?!

currently, PAM00107, or the Luminor Marina Regatta 44 Special Edition.
but i do very much like the Radiomir 8 Days GMT in platinum though. shame it is polished as i prefer brushed.

I don't have one; you can use your cell phone. But I don't have a cell phone either.

I used to wear my original 80s swatch that I got when I was 6 (it was a grownup one so I had to puncture extra holes for my chlid's wrists).
But I lost that, so now I wear one of these, about a swiss at you get and extremely legible:
- i got one of those too, black face. no date tho, but still love it.Samush
