I had heard that there were problems with 1.0 Security Update 2007 - 007 ( intel )? can anyone confirm that? I haven't updated it yet, because of this. Should I update? am I just dillusional?

hmm.. okay yeah i don't either. but i'm just wondering if i don't install the security update... i could be a bit more at risk

no issues here, but you could also safely skip it and most likely experience no ill effects.

(Oct 18 07, 12:41)true but when a person is a broke ass student and drops 5+ grand on a new computer and supplies, they tend to be a bit paranoid about it

(Oct 18 07, 13:11)yes been helped many times there...
although do take into consideration that the apple forum is where 100s of thousands of people come to complain about very specific problems and sometimes the situation appears to be worse than it really is.
nobody goes to the forum to say "yes the security update x.x.x worked great for me - no problem".. know what i mean? it sometimes acts as a nasty Apple bitching board.
