Most of the stuff that happens in hollywood films doesn't happen in real life that's what they're for.
That's even more true for me because I live in england. There are countless things that I've never seen in real life that I see in american shows/movies all the time:I've never met a 'jock'
or a 'valedictorian'
or been to a 'pep rally'
or had 'home room'
or taken SATs
or had a 4.0 GPA
or drunken 1% milkall of these things are alien to me, but I have seen them countless times in movies. How do I know that the whole concept of 'high school' in movies isn't invented by hollywood to make it look like you yanks actually get an education ;)

Good point, Baskerville. Some of that stuff doesn't even apply to a large percentage of Canadian high schools.

I love how on every cop show when the lieutenant is upset with the detective, the line is always "I'll take your badge and gun officer". actually check this out:

How about whenever someone uses a computer, ie CSI, 24, etc, there's always all these bleeps and blips and beeping that goes on when they click and pan and zoom and scroll -
or do I just always have that option off in my preferences?????
