Seriously, whenever a guy I don't like asks me out (not that this happens often or anything), I just TELL HIM that I don't want to go out with him. Straight up. Don't give in unless you feel that something can come from the relationship or you are stable.
And after his initial disappointment and my continual nervousness, he eventually respects me more for telling him the truth. Usually.

I had a similar experience in college. I hung out with this chick once and she got mega-GF on me. Came to my work unannounced, begged BEGGED me to come home with her that night. Like an asshole, I took the bait and played along for about 2-3 days. It was that much harder to hang it up with her because of my selfishness.
That was a former life. But a lesson I'll never forget in how not to treat a woman, regardless of how few fries she may be short of a happy meal.
