tell her you're not picking up what she's putting down, you think she's a gem among gems but not your favorite flavor of scotch, and that because you respect her and her smelly socks you don't want to lead her on.
I had a similar experience in college. I hung out with this chick once and she got mega-GF on me. Came to my work unannounced, begged BEGGED me to come home with her that night. Like an asshole, I took the bait and played along for about 2-3 days. It was that much harder to hang it up with her because of my selfishness.
That was a former life. But a lesson I'll never forget in how not to treat a woman, regardless of how few fries she may be short of a happy meal.
