James, can you email me to explain how you'd like to work, typical rates (if you have them) etc.
We mainly do stuff in XHTML/CSS which I'm sure is no problem for you. If I can't find anyone (which seems increasingly likely at the moment), I'd definitely be interested in using quality freelancers.

The band is breaking up? Differences in opinion?
Sorry to hear James, does it mean much change in terms of current clients/projects?

(Parent, you should put your old site back up, it was nice that)

Digi_Lee i will have to disagree with everything you have said there.
"designer required must know photoshop, mysql, unix and be from a print background"
if you go to any decent agency, they will not require you to do all of them skills programme and design are for two separate kinds of people.
"with a masters degree" thats rubish too, you don't need a degree in this industry, it's your portfolio and experience at the end of the day, not what degree you did.
"There are some great positions out there, you just need to know the right people." Thats just rubbish too. I came to London 5 months ago, i didn't know one single person down here and i got three job offers in one day.
my advice is instead of trying to do everything, be the best one thing.

i like it back in my little province. there's actually some more chances here now for me, as long as you understand clients better, and open yourself up for different levels of understanding.
