Went back and watched the original video and at about the 1:10 mark the camera pans between the real protestors and the cops in protestor garb. It's obvious that the real protestors are vegans who weigh about 100lbs soaking wet while the cop protestors are all beefy weight lifting donut munching motherfuckers.

protestors tend to cooperate with each other for the same cause. this is what made them suspicious to the union leader to begin with, he was defending the line of guards from them and they were shuving him around.

"Police have confirmed that only four protesters, not the men in the video, were arrested during the summit.
"But we see very clearly in that video three (other) men being arrested . . . How do (police) account for these three people being taken in, being arrested? Where did they go?" veteran protester Jaggi Singh asked The Canadian Press Tuesday.
"I have no hesitation in saying they were police agents... and they were caught red-handed."

wait a minute, why would the police bother to incite violence this time? you're implying it has always been the police.

(Aug 22 07, 13:29)You my friend have just swallowed the Red Pill.

ahaahah. no... once did though.
- M0NEYCIDE0
it obscures the issues the protestors were there for to begin with. the media goes off on violent protestors being anarchists and blah blah the riot police are just defending themselves etc and nobody knows what the real reason was for demonstrating.
it's been happening a lot. there's more video from other protests of masked 'anarchist' types being arrested then released back into the crowd. it just gives everybody a bad rap intentionly. union what? oh Harper is just mingling with the Prez. good for him. Live at 5 anarchists try to destroy the free world.

they also are given a reason to arrest more ligit activists. if they were succesful the scrawny ones would be clubbed and in an arm bar in no time. then out comes the spray and ola riot galor.

the thing is legit activists are also strong-headed moralists and you know as well as I do that certain elements only participate in legitimate demonstrations to create havoc. it has no gone so far in the past that the common public doesn't know what to believe anymore - and in doubt, they prefer to believe "the system" obviously.
- TheBlueOne0
What? Canadian doesn't have designated Free Speech Zones™ like the good old US of A for protestors?
- k0na_an0k0
i would love to be a riot cop
actually. i just want their gear.
- k0na_an0k0
unless of course you're talking about peta activists witt.
haha.
- TheBlueOne0
..and it'll be even cooler once the Real ID act goes into effect here in the US when the jackboots get to walk over to the protesters and say "Show me your papers."
Land of the fucking free, I tell you.

i highly doubt this is real. also since a lot of you at newstoday are a tadbit naive sometimes. sorry. not that i am smarter, but there's enough reason to believe these are not cops.
yet, if i prove wrong then this should get a lot more media attention, since this, in most western countries, is against the law.
infiltration is allowed under conditions, not inciting violence etc.
- ********0
ahah! that's true.
theoretically anarchists should have no gear whatsoever!
i'm in.
i mean.
(sorry for the cacophony)
i wish i was.
- M0NEYCIDE0
it's obvious they were cops. it's a well worn police state tactic, just prod the fire then clamp down on them. shuts everybody up and that's the point.

(Aug 22 07, 13:45)actually, it's allowed TO THE POLICE on face of "justifiable threat or menace to disturb public order" in most EU countries i believe.
